If you use PT2 and Poker grapher, press P and then G to open them automatically.

Code:

Just want to add my part in here.

I started playing 2NL on FTP back in July. I play casually when I get a chance to. I started with $40 as that was what was in my account.

Up until now I have played roughly ~9k hands and I'm up to $52. At one point I was up to $60ish, but I played late one night after coming home from work, I was tired and impatient, and tilted a little bit.

I think I am playing a little too tight and too aggressively. Maybe it's just variance.

I play 12 tables.

I can't post my graph because my free trial to PT3 expired and I can't get in until I decide to pay for it.

GL to everyone in this thread going for the BR build.

I´ll be trying myself and I will be following this thread.

Will be starting with nl2 on Ps and will then gradually move upwards if all goes well.

My experience lies within STT so this will be a learning process for me.

School has me covered a large portion of the day and therefore I'll probably only be able to cover roughly 1k hands a day.

GL to y'all.

I'm such a masochist with these... I played 4 $6, 3 $3, and 3 $26 (tokens) yesterday, and busted out of every single one of them 25th place or plus (but not money) by getting it in 75/25 and losing on the river. It was fun. I think my KOs covered my buyins for everything, though, so that's fine, I guess.

lol I do the same thing... pretty much every one I get final 3 tables... but either get coolered or can't hold for that big stack often enough. lol it's not like i'm picky about my cards or anything either

At the 3's i pretty much win or go home. It is crazy how loose people are early. I just wait till the shoving and own with a big stack.

I've only played 31 of them and won 4 and taken 7th once, the rest are OOTM.
I wish I ran hot at bigger tourneys.
09-25-2009 , 04:16 PM
Hows it going so far?
09-25-2009 , 04:27 PM
Half done with the 2NL challenge. I'm up $45.87. So, basically, go me.
09-25-2009 , 11:44 PM
Br up to 3 dollars now.
09-26-2009 , 12:10 AM
Officially busto.
Hit up some SNG's last night and got sucked out from every one, or lost every flip.

88 all in pre vs. 77, river is a seven.
9T vs. 22 on a 347 board, no help there.
AAKx vs. KK75 all in pre in Omaha, backdoors a flush.

FML, can't build a bankroll for ****.

Since I came back I've been running incredibly badly, like 50% of my tourneys I'm getting a big stack then busting out with like 15 left (12 get paid) with big hands (flopping 2nd nuts into the nuts, losing AA, KK, getting drawn out on constantly etc). Looking forward to the end of this downswing .

See if you can spot where I went on tilt :P.

Made about $40 profit for my stars bankroll in the last week or so. Pretty good considering I've been running ridiculously bad, in the $0.25 90's I'm always building a really big chipstack by playing tight early, then I get bad beats / coolers like set over set, losing AA < KK etc, getting rivered, running KK into AA etc on the bubble for huge pots. ROI has dropped from the high 80%'s to 52% . Hopefully this downswing will end soon, but at least I've been making a profit, since whenever I cash (12 / 90 cash) I usually finish in the top 3, by relentlessly stealing blinds since they tighten up lol.

Oh also, I've been 12-20 tabling them, but what I do is have 4 in each corner of the screen and then have multiple tables on top of each other, although I usually reserve top left for final tables so I can see whats happenig. However I have one problem with this.

When I open up more then 13 tables, all the buttons for my tables on the taskbar at the bottom of the computer screen tile into one button () instead of being seperated into multiple buttons that line out across the taskbar. This means there is alot more clicking, and makes it very hard to play more then about 10-12 tables as you just can't get to all the tables fast enough if you have multiple hands to play at once or if lots of tables finish the hand at the same time.

Is there any way to stop this from happening, or anything that can make this easier. Etc. is there any way to prevent the tables going into one button, instead just making them get smaller along the taskbar.

Right click the taskbar, select LOCK TASKBAR if it's locked, or just drag up the taskbar one time to make it thicker. Then lock it again. That's what I do.

Right click on taskbar, go properties, and uncheck "group similar taskbar buttons"

Yeah..........thats not what hes asking for.

You gotta rightclick the taskbar - Properties and uncheck the "group all similar blablabla" thingy.

Edit: SheepMoose beat me to it >_<

Nope, that does something different, what that does is lets taskbar buttons not be grouped together when they spread out instead of having them all together.

Put the task bar onto the side of your screen. Soooo much more bang for your buck... I don't think I'll ever, ever go back to having it along the bottom...

Tried that, all the buttons are way too small, very strange.

Hit $400 tonight ... crazy session (friday of course, happy hour at stars!) ... +0.5 BI of that was actual winnings ... the other $8 came from me using my newly minted balla SilverStar status to buy my first rakeback credit! Go me lol :P

Just do what I said. You'll get used to it.
09-26-2009 , 03:08 AM
you can do both - dock it on the left and widen it - althought this will make your play area a bit smaller....

I always wondered if this would be less effective at quarter turbos than at the $3/$6 level due to more donkey calls.
Just doing this well will get you a decent way up the food chain variance permitting
09-26-2009 , 10:18 AM
Played a satty to the 250k.. won that.. sold 8.80 worth of t$.. took a shot at a 2.20 180 with the other 2.20.. took 7th. Disappointing final table.. ppl were stacking off with pretty much anything, until I get aa in the sb of course.. then 77 has a nice hold vs my 10dJd where I flop 15 outs and turn 6 more outs but whatever..

up to $45.19
