It's almost comical at this point. That's about 30 hands into 10nl. Thats SEVEN buy-ins under ev this month. I SHOULD be getting very close to 25nl instead I feel like I can't even play 10nl.
Ship it.

BR-380

Resumed my session and found the fish to end all fish. Was playing 94/35/12.0 or something insane. Couldn't hit a hand until AJ on a Jd2x5d flop. He min bets, I shove knowing he is calling with any flush draw, any jack, probably any 5 too, any back door straight draw, turns over J3. Turn is a 4 for a fun sweat but he bricks river and I ship a nice 20 dollar pot at 5nl.

That sadly means for you guys playing 2nl/5nl hoping to pick up a buy-in that my 10nl restriction is off . I still will be playing 5nl for the rest of the day and may take my 3rd shot at 10 tonight.
Yesterday at like 12:30 in the afternoon

Re quoting this since two people have tried to collect on this bet after it was over I was winning some buy-ins for confidence then resuming playing 10nl after that. I'm not dropping down ever time I get below 380.

Realized not all volume is good volume, got HEM (trial but will get b/c its so muhc better then PT )

Playing only 15 tables until I fix these leaks I saw I had, GL to all the SNG grinders out there b/c its a easy game learn but hard to get really good at.

Hey guys. I don't feel like starting a whole thread to ask a question and I can't find any threads specifically on red lines. Does anyone know of any good threads that talk about non-showdown winnings? Thanks.

Basically if I have some kind of idea of what hands to shove I'd be fine to play them basically no one was raising PF except the obvious big stacks trying to induce shove from shortstacks.
Shove a lot. I prefer

Should be on $125 though, lost to a 2 outer on my last game of the day.
Try to get to $200-250 by the weekend which is more than possible.
Don't discount two-outers. Your winrate would be higher if they never hit but they do

$114 start today, finished on $145.
$250 by the end of the week is pretty achievable.

But still not happy my roll is so small again.
01-12-2010 , 05:52 PM
didn't play yesterday.

played for 45 mins today, 77 hands and $7.70 up. took me back in the black for 6max this month.

have scrapped my 10k hands target for Jan. played about 200 hands since Sunday, and they have been quality hands. i would rather carry on like this 1-2 tabling, working on my game, than go for volume.

finished DC video number 2 today too.

I kind of know how you feel but really the bad play is what makes you money (if they are dumbcalling you they are also dumbcalling each other etc) and they paid the entry fee, they can play how they like. How bad play can make you do anything other than smile I have no idea.

If a complete donkey sucks out on you at one of my tables I was praying for him to win the hand btw

This is something I've really focused on.. well, raze got me to focus on... and it makes sense to me. I feel like I'm playing much better, able to key on exploiting lines and ranges instead of taking standard lines in spots..... it's fun finding a spot to exploit that I never would have seen before.. and being able to exploit it over and over against the same opponent.
