Haha I rock at english sometimes. Was basically phrasing why I think they are good to c/bet and then whacked a question mark on the end as a kind of "is this on the right track?".

UPDATE
10NL 6max
182 >>>> 318

Just been grinding the last few days. The last 2 sessions I've had 3 10NL tables and 1 25NL table open. I played this hand so bad.

Poker Stars $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

MP: $39.90
CO: $25.25
BTN: $3.25
Hero (SB): $24.75
BB: $32.50
UTG: $31.45

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is SB with A A
2 folds, CO raises to $0.85, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, CO calls $2.15

Flop: ($6.25) 2 5 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $5, CO calls $5

Turn: ($16.25) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $7.50, Hero calls $7.50

River: ($31.25) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $9.75 all in, Hero calls $9.25 all in

I know I'm gonna get flamed on this crap. Let it be.

why, looks good to me

lotsa overpairs that out stomp out

your check on the turn could read, "i've missed my AK...your QQ are a GO!"

and all the money went in so, no worries!
01-10-2010 , 10:51 PM
Yea that line doesn't look too bad at all. JJ would love to see you check twice.
01-10-2010 , 10:51 PM
Thx Gqs and BlaneH, I thought of that afterwards too. I thought the regs here wud say 'Why u giving up control of the pot? Value bet it hard!!'. Thx for the positive reinforecment.
01-10-2010 , 10:59 PM
I mean personally I'd be betting both streets but the board is fairly dry and if he wants to value you bet it for you, go for it. After he bet turn it would been bad to donk river cause it looks super strong.

I generally just rather be the one value betting. Nothing worse than checking to villain just to have him check back.
01-10-2010 , 11:09 PM
for the AA hand.. i think its awful not to bet the turn.. u turned AA into a bluff catcher...
01-10-2010 , 11:11 PM
I like check raising the turn all in here. He's basically committed now, and he might check through the river if you let him. Great way to get value from mid pockets!
01-10-2010 , 11:16 PM
c/r the turn AI
01-10-2010 , 11:19 PM
I def think he makes the hand harder to play by checking both streets but against a aggressive villian he may get more value in the long run by letting him bluff. I think I would certainly need a specific read to try that line.

Bad run too a couple of Sick disgusting hands lol, but that's poker. -90cents now

Need a bit of confidence boost at 5nl.I started out playe 2 tables and was up about 10 dollar sover 1k of hands. Then i come on tonite and everything goes wrong. If it happened at 2nl i wudnt be tht bothered because with a 110 dollars roll a buying is nothing much.I losrt 3 buying withing 45 minutes 5 tabling 5nl ..I feel sick to teh teeth...Anyone else experience this.im afraid to go back to the tables.i was beating 2nl and now at 5nl even though im playing alrite.i heard theres isnt much a difference between 2nl and 5nl but i feel as though im afraid of the 5nl tables. Is this just natural while moving up limits?

I didnt tilt or anything..stuf like flopiong sets on an unraised board and geting 4 outered by two pair.i just feel sick after losing a buyin and fele like droping down to 2nl again where it doesnt hurt as much....can people reassure me that 5nl is the same thing and that i will beat it if i play similar to 2nl?
01-11-2010 , 12:17 AM
5nl is the same as 2 nl - I hope you run good now - Unlike me
01-11-2010 , 12:23 AM
scew my last post.....Brought back up 6 tables...up 3 buying within half hour.....hit set over an overpair...hit another set of kings against a donnkey with k6 off suit who hit bottom pair and my continuation bets have been all working a charm....was fealling sorry for myself an hour ago and now im gettin the rub of the green again
01-11-2010 , 12:24 AM
You're going to have losing sessions. Sometimes you just are destined to lose 3 buy-ins. One of things Tommy Angelo teaches that I've forgot recently is that you can't control the variance only how you react to it. If you were going to get 2 outted that was what was going to happen no matter what so don't let it get to you.

The thing we should be striving for as poker players is embracing the variance and understanding that it's going to do whatever it wants and you just have to hope your skill advantage shows though.

I had too leave the E-Tables too actually do work, (Kinda what i should be doing now lol), But while i was working I found my fault in my play.

While running two tables I keep track of the players on the first table, and read bluffs really well and always leave up, But i cant do the same on the second and end up only playing my cards.

So for now im grinding just the one table.

and read bluffs really well
This is NOT what you should be aiming to do at 2nl. TBH you shouldn't even be forming too deep of reads on opponents other than nitty or laggy or fish. You WANT to only be playing your cards and value betting your made hands. The money at 2nl is not made picking off bluffs.

Yeh Blane i hit abit of it a few weeks ago but in my last post i was just asking is it normal to be a bit afraid or low on confidence when you drop a buying at a new level. For example today when i won a bit back i had 52 dollars on 6 tables.the 22 was profit and 30 was wat i started with. This 52 dollars is about half my roll so i was as bit anxious having so much out there.you get what im saying? Did you ahve the same problem when you moved form 2nl to 5nl and from 5nl to 10nl etc.
01-11-2010 , 01:50 AM
No. If you're rolled for the level you're playing at it shouldn't matter how much of your roll is spread out on how many tables since it's just a buy-in on each. If you're having trouble with the new buy-in amount you should play less tables when first moving up.

You sound like someone who should be overrolled when moving up if the higher buy-in bothers you. I don't really think having half your roll in play at once is ever too smart though. I'd have to be 15 tabling 10nl to come close to that amount and that just seems -ev but even then I'd still be "rolled" to play the stakes.

If you're not comfortable playing with your winnings then leave the tables when you're up. This can help when you are first building a small roll up but I wouldn't get in the habit of it.

Can someone who has unlocked one of the Stellar Rewards on PS tell me if we have to clear it like a bonus or if it's automatically deposited into our account? And, say we earn 3k vpps this month, can we buy the first four Stellar Rewards at once for $40 on the spot?

I see that we have to purchase them for 1FPP so I'm not certain about this.

Current Stake: 10NL/PLO
Site: FTP
Bankroll: $538
Plan of Attack: the risks: many the reward: mirrions!!!!

I have been a live player....deep stacked 2/5 and 5/10 for a few yrs now but finally decided to deposit 30 bucks on ftp in early november and quickly bumrushed through 2nl/plo and 5nl/plo now trying to tackle 10 nl/plo. Very beatable but definitely can tell the difference between the levels. I want to have 40 buy ins for ever level...so trying to get to 1k for the 25nl jump. I will also mix in some mtts altho im terrible at them or just hate them cant decide which one lol.
