2010 I'm going to try and get each roll up to $1,000 on each site with a sane amount of volume (20 hours/ week or so) while i try to balance school,work,moving out, and having a child. I can literally feel myself making better decisions now and I'm pumped for what's in store. let us all grow our knowledge and br in 2010 gl guys

Isnt taking shots at 25NL with 375-400 roll a bit low?
I know its only shots but you dont even have 20 BI's.

Anyway, didnt play last night so my roll is still $450, looking to be around 1.5k at the end of january.
If i can keep my goal of $50 a day i think i can get there pretty easily, plus i will be moving up to $20 pretty soon so i can boost that goal up to $100-150, depending on how i play.

Would like to also become a goldstar on stars, but i havnt had the motivation to put in the amount of games yet.
Maybe one day lol.

are you going to be depositing? if not, i'd suggest moving down to 2NL on stars and smaller SnG's as well. (dunno if there are any though, since i don't play them often.)

no deposit, isn't 5nl the lowest? I'm not big on cash games, i thought 5nl was .01/.02 since the most you could roll with is $5 on each table

no, .01/.02 = 2NL .02/.05 = 5NL

it's just that the lowest limits on stars allow deepstacks for some reason. so yeah, you are doing good then, playing the lowest limit.

if i were you with your bankroll i'd buy in for 100bb btw, seeing as how you only have 3 buyins for 2nl.

I remember having 798$ in my account while taking a short @ 20NL, I thought I was going to set my record that night (800+). I dropped down to 350ish going back to 10NL etc, massive downswing.

Poker usually isnt the predictable game we want it to. Setting goals you wont realize very often is also gonna mentaly crush you.

I'm gonna start the year with $190 on stars and play nl10 until I hit $100 (back to nl5) or $600 (off to nl25). I will be 6 to 14 tabling. Also should be getting ~$50 rakeback on interpoker and hope to roll that up to.

Just keep grinding out hand after hand and remember wat the ultimate purpose in teh end is.


This is NL25 with a little run good / solid effort you can make it to 1k grinding in a month what your grinding with Rb / Bonuses it will be even easier.

Moved back $425 on Stars, got it up to near $900 in 2 days. Plan on properly rolling myself for 100NL next year.
