Nice gamble with the thread title, Ice_W0lf. Winnar, imo
Current Stakes: 20NL
Site: Cake
Bankroll: $520
Plan of Attack:
First, I got off my lazy ass and got a job, so no more robbing my BR, which crept up to $2,300 at one point--not so long ago, for life junk
(Yeah, yeah, not so thinly veiled brag/beat).
I'm going to play 20NL HU primarily, mixing in a little bit of 6-max. I'll probably stick to 2-4 HU tables & 4-6 6-max, but I'm open to tossing in some RB-whoring on 8-10 tables once my roll is a little bit healthier (33%+ RB, so I need to bite the bullet on my anti-18/15 RB-whoring stance).
I'm definitely going to start using my Gold Cards/Gold Chips to play in more MTTs, even though I hate them. I had a few deep runs recently, but managed to choke & bubbled in all of them, so I'm hopeful I can give my BR a nice shot in the arm here shortly.
I'm undecided upon how aggressively I'm going to move up the stakes, so I'll update that when I reach a firm decision. Since I've got a job now, I'll probably be more aggressive with my shot-taking than I was the past few months, so hopefully 50NL will be on the docket soon. After doing a year-end review of my HEM, I found I fared far worse during my 50NL shots than I'd realized though, so I'm a bit jittery about the move up.
I'm going to recommit to yoga & working out in the New Year, as I feel self-control is a huge weakness for me @ the tables and I play beneath my skill level 90% of the time
I
think if I manage to master my tilt, I might be able to pull off a JackWilcox-ish run through the stakes (best case scenario obv). Okay, ok--I
hope to go on such a tear. I
think it's conceivable, if not likely. I'm definitely going to get some coaching once I'm rolled to move up as I seem to
get 20NL, but remain clueless beyond.
GDit. That was sposed to be short.
