ilovelamp: Wow, that sux. I have to stop playing mtt's and sng's till I'll have bigger bankroll. Without playing those I think I can profit and move to NL5 soon.

Btw. I've been thinking and made some calculations a while ago. I'm not sure if it's possible or not. Maybe I'll have to run like god and since I'm not I won't make it. But just for fun I'll post it.
It's made for crazy bankroll management but I counted downswings too. I'll have to be boku to made this. But it's good to have some dreams

More 25 games of HUsngs. This time i got a little unlucky, get owned too many time on the river and lose some 60/40 and 50/50. But after all this is poker!

Lets see tomorrow...

GL everybody.

I think im a little bit different than you. I think i should be playing more MTTs because i cash in about half of them. Although i would really like to Build my bankroll before i start playing higher MTTs. That image and if that happened it would be sick imo.

Not to burst your bubble...but long term.. you aren't going to cash anywhere near 50% of your mtt's.... maybe 1/3 of that amount.

I know that for sure and thats why I keep playing MTTs as well as cash games so i get better at both. Tournaments with 15 minute blinds and 3k starting amount of chips give you enough time to control the variance to at least you are ITM at the micro tournaments.

pretty good start to the year

Wayyy Less than 30% ITM - Variance is a bitch.

Mement_Mori only has a ITM of ~15%.

1/3 of 50... not 1/3 of the time.

Anyone take advantage of the filters on ftp? I decided to really go through them tonight.. and was able to pick out the games I normally play.. and set up my bankroll rules for when I'm playing each game like this:

I've got that set up for cash games.. sngs.. and mtts.... here is my rush favorites :

My Bad - Didn't pick that out

Almost rolled for 100NL - Though I still play 10NL - Lol BankrollNitaments.

Moving up to 25NL soon - will be jolly good fun.

Enjoying Rush ATM - Lets me put in nice volume and I'm hitting 300+ FTP's a day.

Hopefully will go for Black card soon.
01-06-2011 , 01:37 AM
Enprinte, as soon as you jump to 25nl you'll have a blackcard for sure. How many hrs a day do you play to be making 300+ ftps? That's an insane grind imo, even for Rush. You're the type that could make Platinum on stars by only playing 10nl lol

Hahaha! I just moved to FTP and decided to give Rush Poker a shot. A friend of mine deposited $40 and grinded it all the way up to $1300, a real poker fairytale imo. That said, reality slapped him in his face and he fell down to around $500 and withdrew it.

At first, Rush seemed like a fresh breeze - it was fun, and you could just fold every hand until you had the nuts. The flipside of this is ofc when I wake up with KK and raise it up, get a few callers, and the board looks dry enough for me to continue. And then ofc someone has flopped a set and sends my cowboys down the drain.

No, I've decided to not play rush poker. I like the dynamics of ordinary poker better; when you have a good hand, it's usually the best.
01-06-2011 , 12:47 PM
btw enprinte how have you been doing since the full ring switch??

Hmm, I could reload £30 extra which is about the same amount.

I like Omaha Pot Limit and Hold'Em no limit - sit and go - cash..

Someday I'd like to take the time to learn its little intricacies... as it's a great way to put in a lot of volume.. but for now.. I can't be bothered

it was gentle fun (unless you would pay $$$ for a poker horoscope ebook in which case I'll get to writing one) but I play more and post more itt when it's going well. I played pretty badly at times yesterday and today.

But as someone who has run really good once or twice I'm currently running a little over average if I'm being optimistic. From 21 December to now I'm at +$33.65 aka 3.02% roi over 152 tournaments (almost all 9 and 18 man) which is unremarkable. But I didn't even know that until just now. The rewards will be irregular and that's how it goes. Running good or bad is transitory IF your edge is high enough. If it isn't then maybe try finding a game nobody knows how to play

Ice_Wolf what star sign are you?
