Played first session of 5NL yesterday since last weekends horrible self destruction. Won just over 2 buy ins, decided to play 4 tables and instead of being tight agressive im opening a ton more, played something like a 29/26. Being super agro to see what good it does, im prepared to play around a bit to see if I can just become a better player and develop a better style.

w00t! I went for a short session this afternoon, tables are ridiculously soft it seemed and I was running well too. Except for one multi-way pot where I got it in 3ways and ended up just winning my money back. Had a few uncomfortable spots but managed to end up winning just over 5 buy-ins in 400 hands. I ran so hot.

I deliberated 3betting pre-flop but I don't do so well at times with it. I just called in position and flop was pretty huge with overpair, NFD+backdoor flush draw+straight draw so I got it in with 46% equity.

Twice he cracked my KK with hands like 92, J6 etc. Eventually his luck ran out when I held K7 on a 7 x 7 x 7 board and he was holding KK. At this point I was up about 2 BI's, but then everything came crashing down. Same story again, every hand I played I lost. Missed the boards and people called down my cbets.

Final result, -$17.

I was really tilted here. The guy had been 3betting me a couple times when I didn't have the goods. I thought that if I shoved, he'd be folding anything but AA or KK.. well that's my luck right there I guess.

This was perhaps my longest session ever online, almost 5.5 hours without any breaks. I wont play that long without taking some breaks again, it affected my play for sure.
At this level (super uNL) people only 4 or 5 bet shove KK+

Also my cbet stat is about 50 something percent, which I know is really low. I hate cbetting OOP vs players who like to call because I have to c/f turn too often. I need help on this a lot.
If you are playing well enough to go from -40 to -7, you are playing well enough to go from 0 - 33. I dont know your sample size but I think probably just variance as you *must* be playing well buddy.

I know this is completely villan dependant so my example is pretty flawed but at the micros I think they call too much, so barreling isn't great unless its vs a reg.

I could post hands but there wont be much of a hand to look at.

Iv lost every single all in flip, which amounts to just over 500BBs. Iv been stacked 3 times, where Iv floped top top in 3bet pots to be beaten by sets.

Dont think iv ever ran this badly, normally can seperate emotion but after some guy open shoved with J2, and I called with AQ, and hit top pair only for him to runner runner flush, I punched my desk pretty hard.
I was $30 down in 2NL yesterday to beats mate what is that? 1500BB? took a break, changed nothing and fought back to "just" 400BB down - considered this to be decent. Variance can do a LOT of damage. If you cant stand it, play lower.
