optimuz- i dont like the AT raise preflop. You are UTG, and if anything a call would of been fine. A raise in that position with that hand could of put you down if AJ+ calls and an A flops. I'm glad it worked out for you though

ugh.. what a bad day to start.. cashed in only 1 of the 10 of the 3.25 45 man turbos i've played.. with 3 still to go.. the one i cashed i got 7th in... first one out at my table when i flop top 2 vs flopped flush in the 2.20 quad shootout.... down about 30 today.. if only i could have one hand hold when i'm at the last 2 tables.. i'd be having a great day.

If that's happened at 90% of your last 100 sngs, your bankroll is in trouble.

Bad beats happen, sometimes best thing to do after one is just go chillax for awhile. Do something else, it seems as if you're tilting now.

nah.. bankroll is fine.. i'm a roll nit after busting too many rolls, and i have more if i need to deposit, i'd rather keep it offline so i can play live if i so wish.

As far as tilt is concerned, i'm the type that just bitches once like that.. and i'm good, i dont let bad beats bother me, and when i do i just sit down at 2c4c limit with $2.. and nutbar it, capping every hand every street.... so much fun. I'm thinking i might hop back to the cash games for awhile.. my sharkscope graph is looking pretty ugly these days, and a break from sngs may be what i need.

Well, I spoke to soon. Played another 20 games or so, and down to $38. Bad beat after bad beat... always on the river.

I hate being stuck at this level.

10NL, started grinding 10NL with 100$ (I know, underrolled but I don't like to play 5NL at ALL) and am now around 230$, a little swingy at times

Ok today broke all my bankroll rules, but after losing $20 to donkeys and suck outs at the 1c/2c level it was time for action.

I loaded $19.74 on pokerstars 16/04/08 which gave me a target bonus of 78FPP. By the end of April I hit $80 but only 11FPP, last few days felt like stars flicked a switch I could not get a winning session. ( Sorry stars just a joke )

So today after my Aces were cracked for the 6th TIME TODAY I took a shot at 25c/50c. Now this is not to be done if your not used to higher limits and I don't recommend it. I play live at higher limits so I knew I could handle it, well by the end of the session I was up to $152.38 and unlocked my bounus of $3.94 on 80FPP. It felt great at this level proper poker not bingo poker at 2NL lol.

Well feel better now but now back to bankroll management, onto 5NL and goodbye 2NL I hope lol >>>>>

Actually I'm only 2 tabling 10NL but I have been running so hot it's unbelievable. I'm getting lucky every time so I don't think this will last very long

I was running hot then bam can't do anything right but with that shot today back to the grind.

When you raise to 12c table thinks 12c thats nothing I call J4 off and think they are Gus Hansen when they hit there magical full house. But at the higher limits a raise of just 4 big blinds is like wow no jack off's here lol

Glad it's going OK but that flop raise is tiny. After you call his small bet the pot is 67 cents and it's only 20 cents to call. His 5-outer got there and he made a total of $1.24 so he didn't lose a lot (very simplified but meh)
Like the rest of the hand tho If people call 10xbb with trash, bet 10bb all day with premium hands.

How much do you suggest I raise preflop with JJ+ ? I have been doing about 20c-30c depending on the style of the players. This table was playing quite tight so I figured 20c may get at least 1 caller with a decent hand(not J 7).
