I always come here n show my beats because i get so mad at this game, so here's a hand I felt good.

I think you played every street wrong.

The only thing I think is defensible is the 44 limp, altho I'd rather raise.

Even so, you need to bet more on the flop and the turn. I know every one thinks "OMG i hit a set, now i need to string them a long) .

But, with effective stacks of 1500, you want to be betting in such a way that you can get it in on the river.

Pot on flop 250.
You bet 100, I'd bet 175. Your total pot: 450

Pot 450,
You bet 200, I'd bet 300. Your total pot: 850

Pot 850
you check ...


You are just setting yourself up to not get enough value with your monster hands.

If he has an Ace ... he's going to re-raise you and you still get it allin. Your check-raise looks stronger than bet-call for sure.

And btw ... I've said you've played badly in a couple threads now. I hope you don't take it as an attack or insult. Most people at 2NL-25NL are pretty bad and have a lot of the same leaks that you do. And I had the same flawed thought processes when I started playing several years back. It's just a matter of examining your game (like you are doing!) and then learning a better way to approach it / think through a hand.
