How many mistakes on this hand ?
1/2 nl cash live.

effective stack 165 Fold to Hero In mp with Ah Kd makes it 15 to go.
HJ calls SB calls. Three players to the Flop which is

9h Ks Js

Hero bets 25 into a pot of 45 HJ Makes it 50 SB Folds
Hero Raised to 100 and was called.
At this point should Hero Raise or just call ? Thinking Just call because
the equity is pretty good.

Turn is a brick 5h
Hero checks but guessing the check is or is not a mistake dependent on what action Hero took on the flop ? Being Hero raised the Flop I am thinking
checking this brick shows weakness and is a major mistake.

River is a 2s Hero Checks HJ goes all in
Hero only has 50 left. Loses to flush, straight and two pair
Pot 220 and thats 4 1/2 to 1 BUT Beat by a few things.
Do you make the river call or fold ?

I know I know I know This hand was VERY mis played

SPR is like 3 and we have TPTK which leans towards gii, then again we get minraised which because of said SPR is equivalent to a jam on what's a pretty scary board. Multiway I think I just check the flop, the decision point is there

Interesting enough, you point out several potential mistakes but don’t address the most severe (and obvious) one. Villain makes it $50 on the flop and you raise to $100 with $50 left. To ever even consider doing that, you should have strong reads or some kind of meta game between the two of you.

Otherwise, creating a pot of $245 with $50 left while sitting OOP is just really really bad. There’s nothing good that can come from you having to act first on a turn with 20% pot left.

If you call the $50 on the flop, there’s $100 left behind and the pot is $135. That gives you some wiggle room for the turn even though it’s obviously not ideal especially OOP.

If villain is a nit, his raise with a player left to act on the flop might be enough for me to fold to his min raise. Otherwise, I’ll just get it in there.

@madley thanks.
Was thinking the same jam or fold flop.
As played would you have called river?

He only needs to be betting with a worse hand 15% of the time for it to be profitable to call river, you're getting 6-1

I think checking flop would be sub-optimal but it’s not bad.

Against the minraise I would fold or flat. People will raise you here sometimes with worse Kx and then their turn sizing will tell us the strength of their hand. If they are bluffing it will be with spades so if a spade rolls off we can fold.

As played I probably call the river but wouldn’t expect to win very often.

That might be a viable approach with deep stacks. Not so much in a spot where the largest bet possible is 3/4 pot.

As played on the river, when the turn went check/check and the flush gets there, I think we can discount straights/sets/2pair because they would have gotten it in on the flop or at least on the turn. That leaves villain with the flush, AK/KQ/KT that go for super thin value or bluffs. Not sure what hands could fall in the latter category except for stuff like QJ/JT/TT/T9 that called the flop with pair + gunshot. But that’s kind of a stretch. We’re definitely beat the vast majority of the time but odds are probably too good to fold.

Stuff like that happens in multi-way pots with small stacks where we get to the flop with an SPR of 3.

Unless you habe a read that villain is very aggressiv fold flop - you beat nothing vs a minraise in a 3 way pot on a (normally fishy) 1/2 live table
