Bluff and blockers Paradox

Hi, thanks a lot for your patience and kindness.
Recently i was looking at an old (2011?) poker tv program, where an amateur was presented an hand and he had to play it while 3 Italians "pro" where judging his play.
-In the hand in subject Hero has [QcJc] and after he opens from late position Bb calls. Then, on a [Th9s3d][4h][Ac] he triple barrel and get called by [Ad9d].
He got praised for the line, only remarks the sizes to big( a common problem back then).
It's still good as a play? Modern poker theory find it right?
My question rises from the blockers prospective.
How should i look at it in general? ( Same stuff with flush draws, good to double barrel but they block the call-call- fold range.)
The flop and turn bets seems good, drawing to the nuts and 2 overcards, but the river bet?
We block some value combos( QQ (3), JJ (3), QT (9), JT (9), Q9 (9) J9 (9)) but we block also the call-call fold combos ( KQ (12), KJ (12) Q8 (12), J8 (12)).
What should i look at? On this board the value combos we counted are 42, while the C-C-F combos are 48; it's that more prominent?
Thanks a lot

If it is a "vexata quaestio", already talked through, in and out, can someone link me some discussions about it? Thanks a lot
