Yes, rain stopped play is kinda standard for tests in the UK.

Not so much for Oz ...

How come this thread isn't freaking out about the US legislation? Or at least discussing it?

Weather in Oz seems pretty much top o'my list.

we don't know what it is

isn't this stuff kinda normal?

I call levels on both of you.

But just in case, I'm talking about the one where US gambling gets regulated and US online poker takes a potential 15 month hiatus while US-only sites are setup.

Cliffs.

BoM Is probably more reliable.

Oh, I knew what Leroy was talking about

It all seems a bit uncertain, but 15 months without poker and possibly 3+ years before USA players can play the RotW would suck, but lets see what happens.

Its all very strange tho' that the Frank bill gets all the hearings and debate in committee, yet eventually goes nowhere ... all that time spend apparently wasted. And then an attachment comes from the senate, and possibly slips through with virtually no debate.

are your ports still secure?

gg. too good.

as much as it pains me to say it....the home team was outplayed and outclassed from the very first ball of the match ainec.

edit: oh and the sad thing is that right now that huge weather front is coming in and it is hailing at the place i work at which is only like a 1/2 hour from the ground (you english would know all about ****** weather, right) and this is all headed for the ground and the weather map says it will continue for most of the day. All the Aussies had to do was survive one measly session and they would have mostly likely saved the game. doh.

I cant decide if this is the worst australian team that i personally have ever seen or the best england team ive ever seen. It could well be both.

still, sport is a funny old thing and beware teh wounded aussie.....the selectors will have to make changes now and some bold ones at that....and the players will have to harden the **** up and get some of the aggro back.

so yeah, gg england (you pommy bastards ) and bring on Perth

Its over now. The aussies will never win 2 of the 3 remaining tests.

If we can't play for 15 months, it'll be good for me. I'll actually spend more time reading my books and studying for my degree :-/

Yeah!! milk in the shops again after 3 or 4 days of them having none due to the roads being cut by flooding.

People will do anything for money.

I love how in the thread about the legislation everyone is totally freaking out over the blackout. If they are making a good amount of money playing poker they should have the smarts to figure a workaround (VPN, foreign bank accounts, etc.). Just sayin'.

Just a thought. If this gets passed and there is a 15 month blackout period, what will the last few days/hours be like?

I can imagine a lot of people, especially in the micros, will look at their <$50 balance and think its too much of a hassle to withdraw for a small amount, so LETS GAMBOOOOOL !!!!!!!!
