sigh*.. next time I am definitely getting my opponent's AIM/MSN or whatever.. If I haven't started this match by 6:30pm EST I will have to go and leave it for a different day.

Definitely still too early to forfeit the fee. The matches are supposed to be completed by Wednesday. At that point, some kind of decision will most likely have to be made.

Think I could have kept the pots smaller until I got to know your game a little better. I made too many continuation bets - strangely I was catching pieces of flops but always marginal pairs. Wasn't sure if you were c/r because I was betting so much or because you had a hand. One flop was KJ10 i think where I had a 10 and you c/r. not sure what you had there. Not much I could do with a10 i guess. hung myself after 4 betting it.

hey guys have we solved the problem about our missing teammate? i know i told Leo that i would be able to play from 3-6pm today in the case that i would be allowed to sub. if this is still a viable option i am down for it however my time i can play has changed. I have a meeting for a final project at 2:30 which i can then make up an excuse to leave by 4:30pm. i would then be available to play at 5pm?

also whats the record of the match up this week? is it 2-2? if the match doesnt mean anything is a forfeit that big a deal?

well anyway i'm off to my last college final ever i'll be back to check thread around 2:30 when i have my meeting. peace

Have been having a bit of a mare with times with my oppo as both have been having problems. Hopefully game will go ahead tonight before the deadline (between 11PM - 3AM GMT hopefully) but if not it should be completed within 24 hours should a extension be granted. Sorry for the inconvenience caused, it has been unavoidable.

If we need a sub and this game is played im ok with it overrunning as long as both players agree

I actually just sent this to CF as a PM, but thinking about it, I don't see why I shouldn't post here for all to consider.

Here is the rule from the "Draft me" thread

- Each team has one week to play the other. At the end of the week if there are unfinished matches you have 24 hours to get the Commish e-mailed or PM'd proof you tried to contact your competition at least two times. If proof is shown, your opponent has 48 hrs to make up the match or else they forfeit. If both players agree to an extension, then this must be played within five days of the end of your scheduled week (so then you have a total of twelve days to play your match instead of seven). Extensions will only be granted by the Commish if he sees an e-mail or PM from each player before the week is over. If any match goes past the deadline and there is not specific blame on any one party the entire match is void. There will be no exceptions to this rule

I think AFM has till at least midnight Stars time tonight to contact you or post in the thread to explain himself before the match is forfeit, or replacement player is used.

The rules allow for extensions, so I don't think we should be in a rush to complete week 2.

Obviously, if a replacement player is used AFM should lose his flake deposit.

And the "no exceptions" part would have to be over-ruled before a replacement player is allowed, but a replacement player would be better than a forfeit.

let Wisdommaster play instead.

put a reserve on standby. AFM is usually a conscientious type of poster so i would give hime the benefit of the doubt that some rl stuff has come up - but a deadline is needed for him to at least get in touch and say whether he can continue or not.

then make a decision on the flake deposit.

both these matches are causing some problems.

It seems newluck and whufc_booker is having scheduling difficulties. I hope they get to play tonight or if they can't tomorrow at the latest.

Mark and deytar also seem to be having scheduling problems.

These are also problematic cause CF aren't impartial cause he is on my team.
