It started at 3:30PM ET and apparently lasted 2:31, so it was over about 4 hours ago ...

I don't give a crap about basketball, but they have the interwebz now ,,,

yea im seriously starting to get upset about my opponent disappearing...i have made my schedule known and contacted him and no reply...i feel like im gonna end up getting the shaft when he comes back at the last second and i wont be able to play and ill be the one having to forfeit. can the captain of AcesFullMoon's team please try and contact him or something...its now looking like i wont even be able to play any of the three nights that we have left, probably only during the day.

I have sent AcesFullMoon and SomethingFish PM's and message's on AIM, the latter replied he would be online sometime last night 'at least after the lakers game'

I will send both another PM now. Just for the record truckin, AFM hasn't replied to me either I don't think he has been online at all.

Obviously your call commish and at some point forfeit may be the only answer. A forfeit that affects the players deposit or entry is fine, the problem is when it affects his team mates.

Considering this is a forum with a wide range of posters I wonder if there is a way to isolate the effects of a forfeited match? For example the forfeit counts against the individual but not against the team and the team can name a substitute to play for the team win but it would not count as an individual win. idk just thinking on the keyboard.

i was thinking something along these lines, i have contacted the captain. I may allow a substitute, but it would have to be the sitting out player. This would also mean TbobLP will have 2 games to play unless he uses his sitout week.

I suppose it will depend on the results for this week, ie if TbobLP's team is a lock its not as important whereas if its a tie it is more important.

I think IDC are 2-1 down IIRC. But hopefully something can be arranged. Id prefer not to have to use the flake deposit rule but if needs be it will be inforced

I'm ok with anything the commish decides. Are you saying the captain can make a last minute weekly player roster change so the player that is flaking now becomes the sitting out player? As long as that player hasn't sat out yet of course.

I'm sure that acesfull and somethingfishy will be back on at some point and update us. And don't worry Tbob and Truckin, if they don't message you to play until the last minute and you can't play, it's not your fault. However, I hope that we figure out a friendly way to deal with these situations. Both matches (well atleast one) are critical for our matchup, so we'll see.
