Hi all,

Working on improving my postflop play. J Little has a c-betting video where he mentions we want to bet frequently with the range advantage and large with the nut advantage. He also states we want to bet small on dry boards and larger on wet boards (the more likely it is the nut advantage will shift on future streets the larger we want to bet).

I'm wondering if this means 1/3 pot sized range bet should be reserved for purely rainbow flops? Would all boards with a FD be considered too wet to use the 1/3 sizing?

No. Also, super connected/wet boards and monotone boards use small sizes as dominant very often. While it's true that maybe rainbow boards favor small sizes more than average suited boards, cbet sizing is based on more than whether or not fds are possible.

You can still have a 'connected' Board even if it's rainbow. So consider if your range connects better to the Board than your opponent(s).

Q72r is much different than Q97r .. GL
