Some obvious ones i can think of right away are:
* Intelligence
* Problem solving skills (math)
* Observation skills (people reading)
* Experience
* Mental stability (emotion control)
* Poker knowledge level
What else? In other words, what varible you think that can affect your long term poker playing level.
Discipline.
Most of the time, playing good poker is like losing weight. You know what you NEED to do, but don't have the discipline to do it. Ie) Can you throw down the pocket AA? Can you fold our TPTK?
Do you have the discipline to grind 50+ hours a week when it's a job and no longer "fun"?
Cheers,
