Bankroll for nl2 nl5 deep tables (6-max NLHE) Bankroll for nl2 nl5 deep tables (6-max NLHE)

I want to start playing nl2 and nl5, and preferably deep tables.

This means 5$ stacks on nl2 tables and 12.50$ stacks on nl5 tables.I'm trying to get better and I plan on getting pokertracker or another similar software.I'm planning on playing 4 tables right now, two of nl2 and two of nl5.

What kind of bankroll I should be looking at to start? What about 120$ If I'm a break-even player will I survive with this amount in theory?

$120 would be less than 10 buyins at nl 5 deep tables.

Yeah my problem is the fact I want to split stakes. Are you saying I should have 20 BI of the highest stakes I'm playing? (In that case 250$)

More than 20 BI?

What if I play 3 tables of nl2 and only one table of nl5, does it change anything?

The confusion for me is the impact of playing 2 different stakes.

On a side note just so I'm sure I have the right idea, how many buy-ins should I have if I only play one stake? I was under the impression 20 BI was enough (in general).

Have the bankroll for the highest stakes you play.

How many buyins you need is dependent on your winrate. I would say around 30 buyins usually. But you could start with 20 as long as you stop playing 5nl deep if you lose a few.
