H1: 3bet pre is definitely an option, he's probably much wider than normal because he's iso'ing, and UTG may well come along anyway. I'm not sure I'd 3bet the flop, it reps an enormous amount of strength. Definitely wouldn't 3bet flop with AJ here. I probably size the turn slightly less than 1/2 pot so there isn't a lol amount left. Sucks, and run your equity against a range of Jx+ (villain never bluffs here), but I think you might have to fold to the raise.

H2: Looks good.

H3: Yeah, overbets are spazz more often than anything else when they don't make sense (especially donk overbets).

H4: Pre is fine, x/f this flop, and cbet smaller if you do cbet.

H5: Looks good.

Starting over at 10NL, already +3BI !!! Also 3BI above EV Still got some problems with playing shortstacks, I found some good strategy threads but too lazy today to study. Also in hindsight of not folding 85% to 3bets, is this a call pre against a 24/22 player, 3bets 9,3% after 355 hands?

    @TDA
i agree h1, flat and gii on safe turn especially IP. Good to hear that the hands were fine. I feel a ton better about improving my game in 10nl. The regs are better and more aggressive, so i get my gameplay reviewed more and i can adapt to a similar (better) style.

Depends if you want a flatting range at all. If not it's an easy shove. If you're not used to SS play I'd recommend rarely flatting and playing fairly mechanical ranges.

Thanks everyone for your help with those hands from my last post. I do indeed have NoteTracker enabled, and for the villain the only thing about 4betting that I had was that the villain had done so after the blinds attempted a re-steal (he had A4o). I was really tempted to use that tiny bit of information to justify a call, and perhaps I am gun shy after some big losses with QQ, but I figured that didn't really relate too well to this situation. I'll have to be more mindful in the future.

It's been a bit of a frustrating go over the past couple of sessions. Grinding up some modest wins and then either dropping them back to coolers/bad beats or just running card dead for a prolonged period. Had a positive session today and ended up 1.5BI's, including these two hands. The first one I noticed that the villain had a very low fold to 3bet number.

Very interesting hand I played yesterday.

Villain donkbets a lot which explains my reraise on flop. Villain is also pretty aggressive postflop. Turn is standard imo. River is where it gets interesting. Suggest river action ?
Call or shove or if I have to raise, what size ?

Think I'd shove flop in H1, and I think H2 is ok

@quad Thanks, and yes I'd agree. I'm still at the point where a turn raise like that, even from a fish, really gets my attention. In hindsight, being in position like I was should have made it easier to put a bet in.

@dill For H1, that's a really tough spot especially with little to no info on the villain. I disagree with shoving the flop given the stacks both players have. I don't play 6-max, but I suppose hands like AA, QQ, AQ, KQ, and possibly 76 make some sense here. I know I really tighten up in situations like this but I suppose a fold here isn't bad because calling or raising here is going to get all of your money in by the river and not sure you want to do that (though I don't really know about proper stack-sizing on ante tables).

H2 I think is OK. With no turn raise I can't imagine that villain is going to show up with two hearts. Short handed like this, I could see any piece of the board taking the line villain did.

Ty guys. H2 villain had AQ, had no idea why he didn't raise pre.

I'm not too sure whether shoving flop would be the best play this deep, but I'm just trying to assign villain a decent range here. Limp, and call a squeeze bet? He raises flop, so my guess is that he was set mining pre and probably hit with 66-77, was thinking that he might have a flush draw but would prob check turn to see a free river card if he did have it. Are there any other possible hands he could have in this spot?

AA and QQ don't make sense, he will 3bet those hands. AQ/KQs most logical hands, maby draws, maby 77/66. Didn't notice we were so deep. Calling is fine and getting it in OTT is ok imo

Re H2 I'd say the way it plays out is a pretty good reason to flat as it keeps in all ur weak Ax. Also if u 4bet he has to fold what is a very strong hand 4 way.

Re H1 he can have all Qx as well, especially Qxss. It's really just about calculating ur equity vs his range, but 250bbs deep oop I'd be tempted to fold or shove otf. Ofc if u shove ur prob behind if he calls or a marginal favourite v a combo draw. But calling flop lets villain realise his equity if he is drawing

h2. i'd play it passive vs unknown. Call it down or even fold. Kinda sucks but i don't expect unknowns to be playing too aggro in sqz 3b pots.
    Couple of spots from 10nl:

h1: There seem to be more flop cbet raising than in lower limits. Wasn't sure if he was doing this with a hand like A9 or overpair. I think i need to make a EV calculation for this spot, whether i could call the flop raise or not.

I think u played both fine. H1 you could call flop raise ip, but against this dude I don't think just getting it in here can be wrong too often

In blinds I like to play 3bet/fold style, it's more profitable, so 3betting JJ in hand 2

    Dill, KK hand.
It sounds very nitty but i might even fold the flop. Getting into spots like that where nits raise you is just -Ev. Calling down is basically bluff catching(unless he is an aggro tard, which it looks like he isnt). I'm definitely folding turn. If we get it in on the flop we are almost always behind.

Raise bigger pre since we so deep

You can't say he is a nit after only 13 hands and he will only stack off with trips ?

No, but the prob is as he's unknown what are we basing his ranges and reads on? Do you wanna put 250bbs in not knowing if he's even capable of bluffing or only ever raises with the nuts?!
