It is neither geometric nor arithmetic. An arithmetic sequence is one where the difference between successive terms is constant. Given the first two terms, the third would have to be -80.17%.
A geometric sequence is one where successive terms have a constant ratio. 1,2,4,8,16… is a simple example. For the first two terms given the third would have to be -80.66% (rounded to two decimal places) for the sequence to be geometric.
Since it is neither arithmetic nor geometric, if is not possible to state what the “correct” next term would be without further information about how the sequence was generated.
