Is anyone else noticing this? Is this a timing tell?

I think I'm noticing a tell where if someone bets right at the time bank warning, they typically have a strong hand. It is almost as if the alert of the time makes them smash the bet button right then. Like they are like "Be cool... Be cool... (*Beep *Time Warning!) BET NOW!" Anyone else notice this?
should be called sevenfour

It's probably selective recall tbh, as the only people that generally take that long are mass tabling nits

yeah, that timing tell is a thing, my guess is that it comes from the fact that the player wants to appear that he has a tough decision, but does not want to lose any timebank.
However, as is the case with most advanced tells, it only works with a very specific type of player (aware of existence of timing tells, but not this timing tell in particular), and can be easily manipulated, so don't put too much stock into it

I consciously do this for nutted hands as much as I do for draws.
I do not see nutted hands going to time bank too often, as I think that most players do not want to risk their hand accidentally being clocked.

I definitely thought I was being tricksy by burning half my time bank on a "tough" decision where I had the nuts.
Then I read online that pretty much the only time people burn half their time bank is when they're doing this.
Although I guess it's not a completely stupid thing to do, there are definitely spots where instantly making the decision turns your cards face up.
