just to start things of im not really a beginner im 18 been playing for almost a year.. usually deposit 50 dollarz run it upto like 300 take a bad beat shortstack 1kplo bust rinse repeat
ive done this countless times and so sick of it
im posting this thread here because it is the best place to get help imo..

anyway onto my story atm..
i convinced a friend to ship me 25$ on party pokah with the aim of pwning 4nl which i totally believe i can (anybody who has been playing for 4-5 months can easily pwn 4nl -25nl on party imo) main thing is DISCPLINE.

so i start off at 4nl feeling good about myself and after a while i was up 1.5 BIs but then i took beats kept taking beats and before i know it im down 3BIs at 4nl

so i took my roll to 25plo and from 13$ i went to 48.95 where i am right now
i know im better at plo than nl but i dont have the roll to play plo on party (smallest stakes are 10c/25c)

so my question is should i keep playing 4nl which i know i can beat if i stop 3betting with 67s thinking i can outplay them postflop like durrrr when they are playing 80/0
or maybe switch to sngs learning how to beat sngs is very easy imo.

i would prefer to play 3$ sngs but i dont know if they are even beatable because the rake is 60 cents and buy-in only $2.4 it pays out 12 for 1st 7.2 for 2nd and 4.8 for 3rd and if i avg a 20%roi over say 100 games which is pretty easy i would only be making 48$ in profit and losing 60$ in rake over 100 games
maybe my calculations are off but can somebody plz help me?
i really want to switch to sngs because i just cant take 4nl somebody plz help me see reason whether it is profitable playing 3$ sng

I highlighted some problems.

1. Playing one year ? You are still a real beginner, no matter how much time you put in. Judging on the number of times you went busto you still do not have the basic requirements to be succesfull at poker, you lack discpline and bankroll management if you bust alot. Focus on that, even the pros need to take it seriously ... Embrace it , love it and life cash BRM or embrace SNG BRM

2. If you are expieriencing difficulties with a 3BI downswing I can tell you that it happens to 99.9% of the people who play poker. This is why we practice bankroll management. You are going to have worse downswing even while playing the best poker your possibly can.

3. I play sng exclusively since 3 months. What makes you think they are easy to beat? They do have a simplified structure but push folding and end game analysis can be a time consuming job, alot of people will agree with me on that one I think.

4. If you think there is to much rake (and .6 is an absurd amount of take even with rakeback) then switch sites.

5. You want to learn ? read stickies in the appropriate forum like your life depends on it !
