He only has 45 bbs so he's stacking off any A. Played fine, looks like a quick 91 cents in your pocket. Unless he showed up with JT which would have been unfortunate.

Call, villain does this with worse 2-pairs and weak aces. He's not bluffing air here so:

His value range:

A2-A8, AT-AJ (54 combos)
Q9 (6 combos)
A9 (6 combos)
AQ (4 combos)
TJ (16 combos)
AK (6 combos)
99 (3 combos)

You're ahead of 73% of his range. And you're getting 1:1 (50%) odds on your call.

If we take away weak aces, we're ahead of 40% of his range...which is still pretty close, which warrants a call especially if we include aces in his range.

Bet flop bigger. Any broadway card kills the action or destroys your hand.

As played I think it's close. It depends on villains stacking off range. If he's passive a call is probably -EV. But if there are any bluffs or weaker made hands in his range (KQ, K9, A9 etc.) then the call becomes +EV. With his short stack I am more inclined to call. I wouldnt call if villain is 100bb deep.

3bet flop and get it in here as said hes short stacked and will stack off with any ace, if he turns a straight then unlucky move on, you only lost half a BI
