Hey all,
This week I decided to start my first poker challenge. I am a US player who is just starting to get into poker seriously. Pre-BF I was playing small-stakes and volume at Stars and FTP. Post-BF I am refusing to deposit any $$$ online until more clearly-defined information is available.

My question is this: is it even worth taking on this challenge at Cake?

I am new to 2+2, but in my short time here I have read several threads about Cake....with most of the opinions and experiences being negative ones. It seems like Cake has always been slow at cashing players out, but many players now seem to think they'll never see their $$$.

Anybody with an opinion is more than welcome to share it.

Anybody with recent cashout experience please share it!

Any US facing poker site is a risk right now, its really up to you feel like wasting all the effort to potentially be shut out or never see your money.

For what its worth, I opened an account there and played for like 3 days before I decided to go to merge network.

If you're really looking for a challenge, pick a skin on merge, and use their steps sng tickets to grind your way up. Thats what ive been doing since BF and ive managed to turn $1 in to $200 in the last month.

If you don't feel safe on the Cake Poker then try PPNPOKER.COM they process their own deposits and payouts which is on the Cake Network so if you want more safety this is your best way IMO, the merge network I have found way to many donks and it's way to hard to play there when you get like 5 callers in a hand and your aces get cracked and that's raising 5x the blind so i been playing at PPNpoker which is really soft, I turned 20.00 into 52.00 real fast just playing sit-n-gos!! GL what ever you do.

I'm interested in checking this out. Which Merge skin do you guys prefer? Is Carbon a part of Merge?

I dont think u can deposit my on merge network for another week or two at least. On June 1st they stop accepting US players due to the exponential growth in players. they said they were going to stop accepting US players for probably 4-6 weeks.

Yea i play on carbon. RPM, and Lock are also good skins for merge. The only real difference is rakeback/promo deals but most are very comparable.
