I have been watching lots of videos but haven't had much luck applying ideas from the videos (primarily $1/2 NL - haven't found many videos addressing play at really low limits) into my $0.02BB games so I am looking for direction on how I should be playing at this limit. I have currently settled into a play-style where I limp ALOT, especially from early position. My raises with hands like suited AK/Q/J and pocket pairs either get called by multiple opponents in most cases (or folded to for minimal profit) and I end up losing more than I make with these types of hands due to opponents hitting 2-pair, flushes, straights, sets, etc, even when I play aggressive at each street trying to push weaker hands off their draws. Betting out with good hands has been costing me at this limit and anytime I see a great hand dealt to me I don't find the joy in it that I should.

I feel like recent success has come from limping into hands with opponents having low AF and tight play, bluffing them out on the flop or turn when the board looks like it would have missed their range or hit it too weak for them to continue against strong betting. I try to play tight against players that are aggressive on all streets and let them build the pot for me when I have a good hand. In recent sessions I am running around 16PTBB/100 and would really like to improve that number the time I hit my goal of a $200 bankroll to move up to $.05/.10.

My stats for this session (~2 hours played) were as follows :
VP$IP - 36%
PFR - 13%
W$WSF - 36%
W$ at Showdown - 35%
AF - 2.26%
Won Without Showdown - 62%

**Sorry if I messed up abbreviations or didn't abbreviate, still learning them.

Below is a hand from earlier today. Looking for any input you can offer on my play in this hand and what my action should have been at the flop. I am very unsure of my decision to make the pre-flop call on the MP raise but I had already seen him get into hands with a pre-flop raise where he was holding unsuited connectors or just about any suited broadway with low kicker.

MP was 55/27/11(87).

$0.02 BB (6 handed) - Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Fold pre. A6o is useless.

fold pre flop and dont limp ever. generally, you want to be either raising or folding. the hands that you can just call someone elses PFR are pocket pairs lower than QQ. do you have a preflop starting hand chart? this would be ideal for 2NL.

as played, you are most likely dominated in this spot. villains range crushes you here. Two pairs, Top pair with better kicker, set of Jacks, queens all have you beat so you have to fold this one.

like the above poster said, A6o is useless at this level, even if you open raised from the button. 2NL is so messy that you need to play a much stronger range of hands.

Last thing i would like to say is that your VPIP and PFR percentages are way too far apart. At 2NL, you should be aiming to play 12/10 or 14/12. They will become closer by playing tighter and also by raising more instead of calling or limping.

hope this helps.
