Hello,

So, I want to learn how to play No Limit Hold'em by first playing sit and go's and then tournaments, starting at the lowest possible.

I am a good limit five-card draw/seven-card stud player. I know how to play every poker game but Hold'em is the one game I just can't play.

They have a 990 players field, and the first 50 players win 5 buy-ins.

I have some general questions:

1) How to play in the blinds?
2) When should I change gears?
3) Should I move all in with premium hands like AA-KK-AK-AQ?
4) Should I see many flops?
5) Should I care much about position?

I want general tips, thats all.

If you want to learn how to play NL Hold'em, then I can't imagine hyper turbos are the way to go. There is some chart that probably exists out there that will tell you exactly how to play given your position/stack/blinds/action in front of you, because this is a nearly solved version of the game.

However, NLHE in general is a completely different beast. I think cash games are way better than tournaments (personal preference, I suppose), so I think you'd do best by starting at 2NL, which has blinds of 1 and 2 cents, which is probably still in your budget.

Sorry for not really answering your questions.

I would say cash games would give you a better opportunity to learn to play poker over hypers. I don't imagine there is much (if any) deep or post flop play at all.
