Over the Christmas holidays my kids were off school. My wife asked me not to come home before 8:30 so they could sleep in. I was planning on going to the gym but instead decided to degen it up.

I am familiar with the faults in the Martingale system and the gamblers fallacy.

I enjoy playing a machine Sic Bo and studied a bit of the rolls.

I have been keeping track of my winnings for the past 9 days its all rounded because I tip the change. I was profitable using the system before new years but wasnt keep track and was playing other games.
January/+/-
1=+750
2=+140
3=+300
4=+150
5=+140
6=+150
7=+120
8=+700
9=+110
=2560
(Plus I have recieved some comps)
I am aware it is not if I lose but when I lose.

So how my system works:

I play the high low and the individual dice using the martingale system
I bring $500, and no debit - credit in case of nerd rage.

I play the high-low after 3 consecutive rolls of the same (big big big... I start playing small)
The individual numbers I start at minimum 5 ( 5 rolls without 4 Ill start with $1 on 4)
Bet sequence 1.3.7.15.31.62.125.250
If the squence fails I do not put the remainder on continuing the sequence but will put it against my losses.

In the 50k+ rolls I have not seen a high-low go more than 10 turns ( I know it will) and the indiviual numbers I have seen 1 18 consecutive roll (I missed losing because when given the option between and number and high low I go with high low) and a 16 that I missed for the same reason. The rest have all been on the profitable side of 13.

Minimum I have made per hr is $60.

I realise that not having a losing day to this point means I am +ev but even if you change a winning day to a losing day in there I would still be up over 2k. What do you guys think?

I think you are on to something here, I and my team of elite Japanese venture capitalists would like to finance you for the big times.

It's ****ing sic-bo. Dice rolling around in a glass cage. Do you enjoy hitting a little button and making dice fly enough to pay the casino a few cents every spin?

Your results aren't proof of the strategy being +EV. Otherwise, any sucker with a good streak playing martingale strats would prove that martingale is +EV. That sure as hell ain't so, and if you want to argue otherwise, you'll have to redefine what EV means, and anyone who does that isn't on the right path.

Consecutively Lucky. Random is RANDOM. There is no such thing as a "winning strategy" for sic-bo or roulette.

I hasnt skipped, I failed. They let me take drama instead.

The problem with most martingale stories I hear are the people try to earn back loses from a failed sequence. Its why I only bring $500 and dont play my daily winnings so even if I lose tomorrow it wont be the full $500 unless I lose it in the first sequence. Ive decided to set a threshold to tell me when to call it, at loses of $1300 in a 2 week period regardless of other winnings during those 2 weeks. It guarantees me a current profit of $1260 plus comps.

Im treating this like a business, gonna continue tomorrow cause the little ***** got the day off school. ITS OFFICAL I AM A SEMI-PRO SIC BO PLAYER lol.

Breaking up your play into daily sessions doesn't change your long run expectation.

I agree. I dont split it up to reduce risk, I like to be home before 9 when the kids are getting up.

Had my first loss yesterday of the $500 but I was up over $500 because of a hit triple. Hit an 11 sequence on low. Ive seen his page before. There was another page I was reading about the martingale strategy and the odds of losing in the sequence, it was well written. Im curious to see how it plays with my strategy. My Sic Bo machine also gives some favourable odds with 12:1 on a hit triple, I usually hit one every other day usually its just on a $1-$3 but once in a while its a nice pay day.

update:

7-+120
8-+700

I think you should go read fooled by randomness and rethink your life op, lol.

|I am familiar with the faults in the Martingale system and the gamblers fallacy.|

What are the faults in the Martingale system? How specificly does your system not have the same faults as the Martingale system? Why did you believe your system was +EV before you started playing?

I'm an idiot, and also I don't know what sic bo is but it actually it seems your system utilizes both martingaling and the gambler's fallacy (without realizing the fallacy).

"I am familiar with the faults in the Martingale system and the gamblers fallacy."

I am not the smartest tool in the shed but the fact that you failed your statistics class and multiple people are telling you that you do not understand these simple gambling concepts should lead you to believe your system is not profitable in the long run.

Oh and also expected value, you seem to misunderstand that concept as well, and it is a pretty simple concept.

Try this:

Take $560 out of your BR so if you bust the remainder of your roll dedicated to this game, you are still ahead $60, no matter what happens.

Keep playing but take 50% of all winnings and bank it. Do not gamble with those funds. Add the other 50% to your BR. If you lose the BR give this up, but if that doesn't happen you keep making money.

This is madness, when you have a clearly unbeatable betting system you want to put money INTO it, not take money out of it!!!

ps. LF,nusually i hate on bbv threads but i make rare exceptions.

I'm just trying to save you money though which is perhaps the opposite of hating. Hence, I love you!
