Invitation Poker/Blackjack Tourneys

Sorry if this is the wrong forum and better fit for Las Vegas Lifestyle.
Has anyone ever been invited to these tourneys? Some of the auto entry requirements are ridiculous, $25,000 loss / trip, $100,000 loss per year at XYZ resorts. Prizes also are in the high 5 to low 6 figures.
All prizes are paid out in promo chips. I don't hit those qualifiers but I'll check if the invitation is also considered an auto entry.
