Tell me I am not alone:

I am sure I am not...but, for the millionth time.....went to casino with 400 for dollar slots...won early, lost it all back. Then $500 on credit card, lost really fast on $5 slots.....then $250 on debit (down $1150), ran that 250 up to $2600, bet bigger......lost it all back before I left pissed off at $0....anyone relate?

not being flippant here but, why not avoid playing slots?

but I can imagine you are certainly not alone on this, especially with other slots players.

If you play multiple lines you can also cut back to slow your losses. Like playing 9 lines at a $5 machine is really $45/spin. If you played a single line you'd cut your losses by 89%.

You could also move down stakes too, which will also slow your loszes.

Serious question. Do you always bet bigger until you inevitably lose it all?

Lots of people have similar experiences (and much, much worse). There's even a place to share them in the forum:

i think I lost 6 figures in 2017 in pit games (slots, VideoPoker, table games) like 100-1000 at a time.

You're not alone.

You'll NEVER win it all back.

STOP now.

If you find it difficult to stop, seek help.

Just entering a casino means a brain disconnection of our logic department.
And surely the worst option to try to get casinos money is playing slots.

This. If you don't think you're a problem gambler, set a limit for yourself next time. $400, $900, the $1150 you lost last time, any amount (but bring it all in cash instead of paying the ATM fees). If you lose it and can't refrain from gambling more, you're not in control.

But, in this case you did win back your losses twice over... And still gave it all back. It's a compulsion, and it's not going to change if you keep gambling.
