I dont have a strategy and I am a loser overall in bac but I have seen the craziest runs. Basically just bet whatever the last winner was and hope that it runs.

Betting very few hands is one of the keys to beat baccarat itlr.

It's a game of probabilities, so there's nothing to guess or hope for.

Curiously most part of bac players like to take the opposite way: wagering and guessing a lot of hands or, worse yet, all hands dealt.

That's why baccarat is still alive among the casino games. Fortunately.

I understand people say only play a few hands, wait for a bank run, etc. But how do you know a run is starting? Assuming a "run" is 5 in a row, you dont want to wait until 3 in a row to catch that. But if you bet after every 2 in a row hoping for a streak, you watch and player will win 50% of the time!

how do you figure player has better odds than banker? that doesnt make sense. literally the exact opposite - banker has a small adv over player.

so wouldnt correct strategy be to bet banker everytime?

i know you can count cards for certain side bets, but the variance is extremely high and it could appear very obvious.

It is not unusual for distribution of cards to favour the player, the two bets are quite evenly balanced.

Baccarat is by far the best AP opportunity out there in terms of absolute return, for the simple reason you can get way more money down. It is beatable in a dozen ways or so.

If you aren't a high-roller forget it apart from the occassional major casino procedural screw-up. If you are, then it is very easy to make money by hustling kickbacks and not chaining yourself to the table.

Just doing some reading reference Baccarat and came across "Computer-Perfect Play against the Baccarat Pairs Bet" over at AP heat. I find it very interesting. At my local casino where they have the electronic stations or as some call it "stadium" baccarat, its normal to see players with their smart phones out the whole time they play. I just wish their was a free app available for it, lol.

Baccarat is such a nice game.
But very complicated to beat and also -ev for most of the players.

I really prefer BlackJack.

At any given hand, regardless, and f hand history, the banker has a small edge against the player because of the rules regarding the drawing of the 3rd card. Example, player shows 4, banker shows 5. The probability of a player getting a monkey is pretty high to allow the banker to win...
