Does anyone play on worldwinner or king.com? I've made $110K+ on those sites playing silly little word games, solitaire, bejeweled, etc. (I use that to bankroll my poker habit. )

The two main sites are worldwinner.com and king.com. When you start on either of those sites, your rank will be low in all games. As you win, your rank will go up and you'll get matched up against tougher opponents.

So practice first. Go to youtube and watch experts play the various games you want to learn. Then beat up on all the newbies while you're a low rank at the various games. Lather, rinse, repeat.

If you're REALLY lucky, you'll find that you can win even at the higher ranks in certain games, allowing you to exploit that +EV situation forever. But that's rarer.

Anything like a rakeback site or signup bonuses for these sites that we should take advantage of before registering?

Jesus, this guy looks like he's being serious.

This is pretty funny. From something that I thought was total BS to turn into something realistic. Very interesting.

id imagine the rake is pretty high for these skillgames. you might have some initial success but eventually youll reach a rank with others of equal caliber where in your matchups, neither of you can overcome the rake and it will grind you both down over time.

the rake is obscenely high... like 25%

two-player games are not what you want to be playing, for that reason... play the progressive tourneys and larger limited-entry tourneys instead

Msufan, have you played at Worldwinner lately, because some of your info seems to be a bit outdated? For example, the prize pool for the Hangmania Daily Delight is down quite a bit from the numbers you gave. They give out $100 per division now, so first place is $22. There are other games with better payouts on the daily, though. Bejeweled, Solitaire Rush and Wheel of Fortune all pay $50 for first, $45 for second, down to $2 for 18th on a $1 entry fee. Also, Worldwinner doesn't offer progressives any more, but they do have monthly specials and survival tournaments. Survival tournaments last a while, sometimes a month or two, but the winners of the bigger ones win $2000 on the way to the top. King has progressives.

I think it might be a better deal to sign up through Inbox Dollars than Mypoints, but I'm not sure about that. Newbies should check them both out. You can't join twice, so do it the most advantageous way when you do it the first time.

been very interested in these kind of games for a while now...

What games do you typically play, and what is the general standard of play like? I read a recent article in gambler magazine about these games and seemed quite interesting. It was talking about the potential for future growth in online gambling, and the writer thought these were the way forward. Not to the extent of the online poker boom, but they certainly seem to be growing.

low rank play is terrible, high rank play is good... so you need to practice and win while you're a low ranking player.

there've been million dollar skill gaming tourneys before (a young woman from Michigan who plays as 'kavishah' won a million, for example), but we still need our Moneymaker moment where it is on ESPN and everyone decides to try it out or something... right now I play against a lot of housewives.
