um, i use three different sites.
(i hope mods don't mind me posting links, as im only trying to help).
despite the astronomical odds for any lottery, i still find myself drawn and playing oversea lottery when the jackpot gets to a certain point.
My favorite oversea lottery is the Euromillions. It almost has 3x the better odds to the powerball and the payout is enormous when it reaches 100million euros. And it's all reflected cash value, instead of the annuity advertised versions of the megamillions and powerball (which gives you about 50% of the advertised value in cash option). Also, EU doesnt tax lottery winnings (same goes for Britain). So i always end up spending about $100 when Euromilions reach past 100million euros (about $147million USD).
I definitely had to shop around first. I must have tried at least 6 online lottery retailers before choosing the one i trust most.
And so far, I've been satisfied with the three.
www.thelotter.com
www.buylottoonline.com
www.congalotto.com
Lot of the lottery retailers online are affiliates. for example, wintrillions.com is the parent company of congalotto and etc.
But the three I mentioned are three separate companies with no relationship with one another. However, i realized that they all use the same Messanger Service and share lottery agents (those who buy the ticket in that specific region on behalf of the site) time to time.
My favorite actually is the
www.buylottoonline.com.
It looks bit cartoonish, but I've been satisfied the most with them. I've cashed out three times at least (havnt won the jackpot yet lol) and they are actually listed on BBB (better business bureau) and is also located in the U.S.
My second pick is the thelotter.com
Supposedly these guys are biggest player in the online lottery retail market. They have paid out the most back to players than any lottery site combined (if that in anyway speaks to the validity of the site...) So why dont i play here? well, i dont like their layout, and i have no resource to actually verify everything. However, I've cashed out atleast twice here on thelotter.com
3. Congalotto.
I use to play here because they are bit cheaper than the rest (but all the site charges at least double the cost of ticket). However, they are owned by wintrillions, and congalotto has gotten bit sketchy. They are not what it use to be last yr. Things are slower, people dont respond in time to my email inquiries... I stay away from them now.
However if you can buy the physical tickets yourself, I advise doing that before using the online lottery service. It's cheaper and it's safer
But time to time, I like to roll the dice, and give the site the benefit of the doubt and play when Euromillions or Oz Powerball (australia) get up to extraordinary amount.
When Euromoillions is at 100million, it's equivalent to Powerball's jackpot of about $330million. (and euro gives you lot better odds).
Hope that helps.
p.s.,
in case you are wondering, i play through buylottoonline.com now. go and click either the powerball or megamillions (it doenst matter) and as soon as they take you to their main page, you can scroll down and choose from dozen or so of lotto from around the globe.
