So what happened here? Did the user account get deleted? Did the user change their email address? If so, was the permissions to their HUDs removed as part of that process?

Hello. We do not delete or close user accounts. This can only be done through a request and only in very rare cases. Perhaps the user who contacted you just got confused and gave you a different email address.
