Hide Show Tables Within Tabs

I insert two tables to the blank hud like so, and adjust the Players in hand option to change when they should be displayed:
When I view hands, they appear as expected: the 3-10 table appears when 3-10 players were dealt in and the 2-2 table is hidden, and vice-versa when only 2 players were dealt in.
However, if I add tabs and drag these same tables into the tab, neither table will appear on 3-10 or 2-2 tables.
Am I overlooking a setting that takes precedence?
