Hello. I'd like to know what the secondary number in a stat means.

In VPIP I see two figures. The main one, and a smaller secondary one. Or a secondary one in parentheses.

What does the secondary figure mean?

That is stat sample, you can disable it in Configuration -> Stat Appearance:
