Databases become useless after power blackouts Databases become useless after power blackouts

If the computer goes off because of a blackout there's no way to recover the database. I actually have four databases that went corrupted over five months.
This could compromise very big databases and renders the software unreliable. I hope you are going to fix this with the final release.

Hello,

Unfortunately, in the current version, there might be errors leading to database corruption. The most common causes of database corruption include:

1. Forced termination of Hand2Note.
2. Power outage during play or statistics building.
3. Shutting down the computer with Hand2Note still running.

During testing, it's essential to avoid these situations. However, most bugs, including improvements to database stability, will be fixed in the new versions of Hand2Note 4, and we hope that your impression of the software will change after the final release.

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience.

Thank you. Your software has the potential to beat all the other trackers. I find it very intuitive and it has the most indepth and non invasive HUD. I worked with databases so I know how difficult is to handle sudden interruption of the process without data loss or corruption. Unfortunately power shortages is something we can't control.
Keep up with the great work.
