I think I found a small bug with Hand2Note's integration with 888Caption. In the below hand, the Ace in my hand had the wrong suit. I'm not sure if this occurs every time or with other cards. In this hand I had the Ad (not Ah). Note that I actually won the hand with a flush. I have another example that also involves an Ace, but I haven't noticed it on any other cards.

BTW: I am not sure why the hand is stored as Pokerstars, but to be clear this was an 888 hand.

888caption support is not guaranteed at this time, it's better either to turn it off during the game or to disable sending data to Hand2Note if there is such option.
Where did this hand come from? It's not an 888 format and neither should it have come from the H2N archive folders, because H2N archives hands in original format.

I could disable sending data to Hand2Note, but I really like the feature because it makes the dynamic HUD better.

I got the hand by going to reports, show all hands, clicking on the hand in question, and clicking the copy button.

No matter it's a minor bug and I really like the 888 Caption integration. I hope it become fully support in the future.

But you can test H2N without caption integration. I am no sure that H2N will support caption in the future

I'm sure the 888 hand would parse correctly if pointed at the file exported by the poker client. That case is probably pretty well tested, and I seriously doubt the poker client would export the hand incorrectly. Honestly, I would test it for you to confirm, but it would be a hassle. I'm really not even sure how to find that specific hand. I play a lot and have a TON of hands.

For what it's worth, I am a HUGE fan of 888 Caption integration. Please don't remove it! The bug is minor and I love the dynamic hud functionality it provides. It's the primary reason I switched to Hand2Note, and I'd probably switch back if you pulled it.

Please also try to contact 888 caption developer, i think that feature should be updated more on 888 caption software side.

This is not an 888caption issue. I have the same problem on 888 and dont use 888caption. the issue does not appear with other sites.

Just looked through H2N Hand Historys and compared with actual hands. Every Ace is the wrong suit, every other card is correct

Agreed, I forgot to post the update from the 888 Caption Developer. He basically confirmed the hole cards aren't in the API. His response to my email is pasted below for reference.

Room 888 keeps the hand history in its original format, without the Pokerstars prefix. Your giveaway looks like it was obtained via mining or a converter.

Not mined and no converter used. The only software my computer was using at the time were poker clients and Hand2Note. The 888 hand history folder is empty though (this is where I have 888 set up to save hands). Hand histories are instead saving to C:/Hand2NoteHh/Pacific

You have to update 888 client and H2N to the latest versions.

Hand2Note is updated, 888 client updated today. Issue persists. In the hand below Hand2Note gives me the Ace of spades.

On the left is hand history through 888 hand history folder, 2nd from left shows text hand history through Hand2Note. At some point H2N is converting hands to Stars format and changing the suit of the Ace in the process. Once again, everything is updated and H2N is the only third party software I'm using.

Please show on the screenshot Hand2Note autoimport settings and 888 hand history folder location in 888 client settings.

Also please make sure that 888 Hand history folder is not located inside Microsoft One drive cloud folder.

Solved. Thank You. Deleted a One drive folder containing 888 hand histories that H2N seemed attached to. All good now.
