Or switch it so that you can only play Turbos (if it's a lobby thing, like wanting to have it uncluttered thus only offering one variant). Right now you can only play Hypers. I think it might be bad for poker to only offer Hypers. It's a short stack variant and blinds increase quickly so to have heads up sit and goes offered and only offering the short stack variant I think might be a bad idea when there were people playing the deeper stack Turbos on the global site. I don't really know how to articulate why I think it's a bad idea but to have heads up sit and goes playable on the site but offering Hypers only instead of offering Turbos seems like a departure from the old PokerStars. If I have it right turbos start with 1500 chips and blinds might increase every 5 minutes starting at 10/20. Hypers start at 10/20 and increase every 2 mins. Just my thoughts.

In case you didn't know, PokerStars.com for NLHE HUSNGs also only has Hyper speed.

Edit: I guess they really did depart from how they used to run their business if they just took out reg speed and turbos on the main site. What's the point of that if people still played them? I have like 23k+ games played on sharkscope you used to be able to sit turbos and reg speeds just fine why just take them off the site? Just suspicion but do they really prefer high volume hypers to turbos and reg speeds that much to just take away those formats? Or was it a rake issue? What a thing to do if it's a rake issue, just killing an entire format of poker that was offered for such a long time to only offer hypers. They were offered for such a long time I don't know how suddenly it could be a bad idea business wise to offer them. 1500 stack HUSNGs that start at 10/20 was a good format of poker to play. Or did they take them off because there wasn't enough volume? I don't know if it'd be that... because they filled fine not too long ago if I'm not mistaken. Maybe they see offering hypers only as the superior business model with less players playing? Or maybe as just the superior business model? I don't know, it's just that 1500 chip 10/20-15/30- and so on blind structure was such a good format I think it's a huge mistake to just remove reg speed and turbos as formats. If anything keep turbos if you have to pick one. Or offer both turbos and hypers to keep HUSNGs as a format. Offering hypers only is just, I don't know, something, I guess. Truly the loss of a format of online poker, I hope the reason they took them off was a good one or else just put them back. I mean if people still played them, why not?

I'm still upset about their decision to remove HU regspeed/turbos, even though it has been almost two years. As far as explanations go, their official reasoning was low traffic which IMO is a truly baffling explanation considering you rarely had to wait for more than 1 minute to get a game, if that. Also I cannot see why removing a game type is a good idea even if traffic is low. What's the problem with having the option to play? Regardless, they will never put them back on again and they will probably even remove hu hypers soon and make spins the only option. They will also never allow HU zoom tables for microstakes, since that would be too much fun and too profitable for good micro players (not that I'm a good micro player, but). Even though other sites like Partypoker and Ipoker offer both HU cash and different HU sng formats, the traffic is so pathetic that it doesn't really matter. GGPoker is the only one who can challenge PS but they will also never ever ever ever allow a single HU table on their site, never ever.
