Hi guys,

I am fuming and been wondering if anybody else run into the issue and what the root cause might be.

First of all i am Pokerstars reg, been Supernova for many many years, played over 5mill cash game hands, Always play from the same physical location, same PCs, same stakes.

All of a sudden, today while being in the middle of a cash game session, i got a weird message saying the following and been put onto sit out, and not been able to log in to Pokerstars:


"Your Stars Account has been temporarily restricted pending a routine security investigation. We apologize for this delay.

These checks are usually completed within minutes, after which time your account will either be re-opened with full functionality or you will receive an email explaining the required next steps.

Should you with to contact us, please head to our dedicated Help Center where you will find answers to most questions and ways to contact us"

I messaged the Help Center, chat where they basically repeated the same and provided no options to escalate the issue or a phone number to call. They said its their current process and they cannot do anything. They also ackoeledged that i could be in the middle of a final table or 1000s of USD invested into the pot and STILL THE CHAT AGENT WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE!!!

Agent thanked me for writing to them and disconnected.

So....first of all how do you feel about this process? Have you experienced the same? What could be the root cause and why NOBODY from Pokerstar is available to resolve issues like this on the fly? Again - i could have been on the FT of Sunday Million during this!!!

BTW, it has been an hour now and STILL NO MAILS or any kind of a resolution/help on this issue from the site!!!

The bastards did this to me in the middle of a HUSNG. I was a 2:1 chiplead. And they didn't refund me...

What was the resolution of your case? Did you get your accounts back?

Mine has been temporarily restricted since March. To all my emails asking for clarification or suggesting help, I got the same reply to be patient.

Only last week, after 8 months of silence, I got an email asking for additional verification of account. I have sent the reuiqred photos of my debit cards, selfies with ID and proof of address. In response, I received "The review is still undergoing. We will contact you if needed". I wonder if I will have to wait another couple of months before I receive any other request from PS.

Mine was resolved within hours. But I never got my refund.
