Hello guys!
Sometimes when Im playing, a small windows that says "please restart your client" appears and forces me to restart the client.It can happen in the middle of a hand ,which is just terrible,it makes me lose a lot of chips.

does anybody knows where this bug comes from? is there any way to solve it?

Today this happened to me aswell. Is there a way to restart client without exiting cash tables and not losing hands/money/seat?

I've been having the same issues. What I've found is that if you click "yes," you are kicked out of the client but at least have an opportunity to re-open it and try to reconnect before your hand in progress is folded. If you click "no," you are removed from all tables without any chance to finish the hand.

Also, I have had some luck by not just disabling all advanced graphics, animation, etc., but going into dark table mode or whatever it is called. I still seem to be dealing with laggier gameplay than I was before, but at least I haven't seen this issue come up again. Knock on wood.

Did anybody find something to fix this? I get this error everytime i open 6+ tables ( i honestly don`t know what do to anymore...

Same problem here. Had it the first time today and got kicked 2nd time now. 2-3 tables zoom.

I just got a new laptop over the weekend and just got this message. First time it’s ever happened to me but it happened 3 different times in one night before I just stopped using that machine.

Went back to my old computer that I’ve been using forever and it’s never happened to me on there.

This is a huge issue, how has Stars not found a fix for this?

I’ll add my name to the list of having this exact issue. I just got a new HP laptop for Xmas and have been playing on there while running PT4 and I have got that pop up 3 times in approx 2 hours of play.

I had played on an all in one desktop for the previous 2 years and this had never happened so it has to be an issue with the laptop, but no idea how to fix it.

(Still) having the issue here as well. Have briefly been in contact with support but it seems that they have given up on giving suggestions to fix the issue and instead replied with "the issue is still under investigation and our Specialists Team is currently working hard to reach the best solution as soon as possible."

If anyone has any way to work around this in the meantime, much appreciated. Already tried the suggestions mentioned in the the software improvement thread.

I haven't been able to find a resolution yet. I kind of gave up until I hear otherwise and am continuing to use my original computer to play on.

Not sure if its specific to HP laptops and or Windows 11, but that's what I am using when experiencing the issue. Super frustrating

I also get this and also had problems with HEM3. After liaising with HEM support they concluded it was to do with my new computers intel processor being too advanced (new) for their software. I suspect this is a similar problem possibly.

I have uninstalled stars and reinstalled it many times in the last month but still get same issue constantly throughout a session! Fortunately the computer is that fast I'm quickly back in the games after restarting the client but it's not right.

Hey, its your graphics card software I was having the same issue till I turned off my msi after burner. I think its something to do with that. Ever since I turned off my after burner, and AMD software it hasn't happened. However, every time I boot it and open up two poker rooms with it on I get hit with that annoying box.

I was facing the same issue and I found by this comment that my Asus tweak software was creating the same problem (please restart your client) for me.

Same thing here. Only "fix" I have found is limiting number of tables and closing everything else including other sites. The worst part about it is, it snap mucks your hands and doesn´t give you a chance to reconnect.

Lost thousand(s) because of this sht update. Was trying to find a fix for it for months.

Stars assured me I was the only one that had the problem or that they heard from so I would advise emailing support.

I sent them the log files, made a ton of room on my new comp, reinstalled graphics drivers, deleted old stars files, reconfig'd everything and reinstalled several times... nothing.
Something maxes out your memory after a few tables and makes it completely unplayable.

Oddly enough the only 'fix' I found was to try an old laptop with much worse specs. Only thing I can use to play on stars right now.

I found a solution to this issue for anyone that stumbles upon this thread looking for help.

I recently started getting this error, it was happening about once every 90mins on average. I contacted support and after a couple of unhelpful suggestions (reinstall the software, delete cookies etc...) they eventually blamed the HUD I was using - HEM3. Obviously they were wrong.

I set the table theme to carbon lite and then turned off all unnecessary features (animations, throwables, prestige etc...) and put the graphics quality and framerate on low.

Since then it hasnt crashed once.

Even though im using a high end non-gaming laptop, i think it is something to with processing power, but I know very little about these things so take from that what you will.

Still same issue, even with low graphics and framerate options and all other animations off. Game (zoom MTT) played fine until after 45mins play and 1st break finished then this message comes up and game freezes. It does not make sense when game was running smoothly until then. Am using Hand2note HUD, any known issues with that?
