MTTs with new "Guarantee Boost" tag don't show up in my favourites list. I use a favourites filter but there's no reason for it to exclude these tournaments except for presumably a bug.

I dont really know where to post this but what happened to all the discussion of changing the main lobby to eliminate seating scripts? I really feel like something has to change in MSNL. about 15mins of my hour session is having the pokerstars lobby covering all my tables because of constant table campers/grimmers/scripters which end up spawning new tables. (i only try to get 6 tables max).

Every session i have to end up telling a reg or two theyre breaking the rules by constant camping or grimming (i know, i know report, but it never works).

Theres just far far far far far too much of an advantage to script compared to starting tables and its super unfair. Were just getting ****ted on every single way

Sorry for mini-rant. Just fed up with how difficult it is to get 6 tables at msnl. I just wanted to know what was the result of the discussion of coming up with a way to make it all fairer? I remember kanu and co being properly involved in trying to fix the lobby.

At this time I have no information about when we expect to return to Portugal, but we are working diligently to work through the regulatory process.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the issue, but I've tested both .COM and .UK clients, and the game lobby position and size appears to be sticky from session to session. If I move the game lobby window to a new position and resize it, then close the client, when I reopen the client it opens in the new position at the new size.

Could you let me know which client version you are using? Go to Help > About PokerStars and look for the 5-digit build number. Also, are you using PC or Mac OS?

I usually move the lobby, half off the screen. Can this be the problem?

Yes, that's a problem. The software won't open the client outside of the monitor borders.

anyone findng that Pokerstars takes forever to reconnect after you've disconnected? All my other internet consuming applications work fine but Pokerstars is still scrolling that green bar across trying to reconnect.

Seems like it has caused me to miss many hands unnecessarily.

Just an idea when searching players instead of saying player not found etc say this player has opted out from search etc so you know there playing but not visible to search? or that being said how about having a option to allow certain friends to search but blocked to others?

Letting you know that another player has opted out of search would be a violation of privacy, much like social media sites don't let you know when you've been unfriended.

Regarding the friends list, it's been discussed and there is some support for it, but at this time I have no information about when it might be worked on. In the meantime, you and your friends can start a Home Games club:



and then use the Member list in the Club lobby to at least see whether each other is online (though it will not tell you which public tables your friends may be playing), and by 'online' we mean logged into the poker client.

Improved Client Update

This is the same improvement we deployed last month for Win/PC, now on Mac. It ensures the client will start even if the updater process fails (provided the existing client does not need a forced update).

Mobile Icon Removed

We originally introduced the feature to promote the fact that we have mobile clients. Now that most players know about our support for smartphones/tablets and our mobile client usage is healthy and growing, it is no longer needed for the purpose of raising awareness.

In the meantime, we have determined that it provides an unfair advantage for experienced players to more easily identify and target inexperienced players, so we the feature has been removed.

Satellites Start in Late Reg of Target

Previously, a satellite would stop regenerating once its target tournament starts. But with a higher percentage of tournament registrations being moved to the late registration period, satellites are losing some of their effectiveness by not being able to run during the late registration of their targets.

Resolving this should increase overall tournament participation.

Likewise, scheduled satellites will be allowed to have start times inside their target’s late reg period.

Option to Suppress Reg/Bust Out Msgs

Players who play a lot of tournaments see the same registration and unregistration messages repeatedly, and previously there was no way to dismiss or suppress them. In this build we have added a “Do not show again” option to these messages, as well as to the message players see when they bust out of a tournament.

However, registration messages that have a special post-registration message will not be suppressed, and bust-out messages that enable re-entry or entry to similar tournament will also still be shown.

If, after suppressing these messages, you would like to restore them, simply go to Tools > Restore Info Messages and click the ‘Restore Pop Ups’ button.

Non-final Phases

Previously, in the tournament filters, non-final phases of phased tournaments would not show if the ‘Satellites’ Variant filter was not checked/enabled.

Now that we have ‘Phased’ as a Variant filter, all phases of phased tournaments (including final) will show provided that the ‘Phased’ Variant filter is checked/enabled. (Note that selecting ‘All’ for Variant means that Phased is enabled, even though its box is not checked).

Mobile – Auto-center seating

A couple of builds back a bug appeared with iPhones (not iPad or Android) where the auto-center seating function selected the seat to the right of center bottom. This has now been corrected to place you in the bottom center seat.

Play Money Stakes

The Custom stakes range in the All Games > Cash Games filters for Play Money were updated to better reflect the games that are available in the client today (we removed some low stakes, added higher stakes).

are you guys ever going to fix the auto rebuy glitch?

every time you check the "rebuy whenever possible" box and your stack drops below 0 and 1 buyins it waits until after the next hand to top you off, which means you can be dealt aces the next hand and not get fully paid off because the glitch didn't rebuy for you like it was supposed to. but if that isn't bad enough, after it tops you off the next hand it then tells you you cannot rebuy again because you already have too many chips and unchecks the box for you! then if youre not on top of it you may forget to recheck it and bust out of the tourney during rebuy when your intention was to rebuy as many times as needed, wasting the time and money you already spent. we should only have to check these boxes once, not several times because your programmers are too lazy to fix a simple bug thats been there since the feature was introduced.

It's being worked on right now and is in QA, which means it didn't make the August build but most likely will be part of the next build cycle in September.

I understand how frustrating it is to have bugs in the software for extended periods of time, but I can assure you that no one at PokerStars is lazy, least of all the developers - who get their priorities for what they work on from the product and Poker Room Management teams. So, please blame us, not them.

Regarding the player search function and privacy. If I'm sitting at a table with a particular player, I know they are there, sobv. So searching on that player's name to find out how many other tables they are at does not appear to me to be a breach of any privacy. I'm getting back to the issue of mass-tablers here, if I'm currently playing with him/her why can't I be told how many tables they are at? I don't want to know which tables, just how many.

This also allows insta-identification of fish in non-zoom games. Given the reasoning behind the removal of the mobile icon, I don't think this will work out.

Ideally I'd like 1.5k/3k mix or higher to be available like they were on FTP, where there was some volume and demand for that at heads up. Perhaps adding it to the bottom of the lobby with the hu 400/800 8 game mix?

For other games I'm not sure, but I'd imagine there would be some support for 2k/4k triple draw and 300/600 NL/PLO
