Ikr, you know after I deleted my user.ini file after I was told to, then couple of days later I faced some another issue and I was again told that my user.ini might have gone corrupted. I know its their(support) standard response when they fail to understand what may have caused the problem.

Anyone know a way to automatically backup the notes file? Would be handy to set something up to make a copy of it every x hours.

You can export and save the notes file manually when ever you like to make a back up, if something then goes wrong you can import the file back into its location to restore it.

Click Settings > Gameplay > Player Notes > Open Folder & then fins Notes.playername XML file and then send a copy to your desktop and email it to your self or store in a safe location.

There also seems to be a new file I have not seen in there before notes.XML.BAK which appears to be a back up file of the notes, I do recall Keith saying they where trying to find a solution to back up the notes file.

i think if you find somebody very experienced with windows macros it will be possible to do it autonomously

Yeah I do that already whenever I remember to. Would be nice to have an automatic solution though.

The .bak file is an exact copy of my notes file, if it doesn't get corrupted when the regular file goes awry then it's exactly what's needed. Hopefully the rep can confirm.

You could use Robocopy to do this, I would think. There's a thread in CTH with a helpful link. First page or two, I should think.

We agree that browsing a forum for them is not a good solution. We are discussing our options for presenting release notes in-client (either as a News item or in the Help app). It's not as simple as you imagine because we have 4 platforms (PC, Mac, iOS, Android) for a dozen licenses with over 25 languages, and we typically have one or more releases per month. That's a lot of information in a lot variations and will take some infrastructure and process development. We are working toward a solution, but it won't be a quick hit.

Meanwhile, to answer deLuxy's question about the EU Win client update to Build 10456 - nothing changed in the poker client, it was deployed to address an issue in the casino product affecting tables when players changed their language.

Thanks, Asjbaaaf for the update. We were not able to reproduce it on our end with just PS7 running, so it's good to know there might be a solution.

hurtNYCDE - are you or have you been using TN2? When trying to isolate whether there is some cross application interaction, we have found that in order to test PS7 without third-party apps you can't just turn off the apps - you have to also shut down your PS7 session (close the client), then restart and relogin without starting up the other apps. Please give that a try.

This is a known bug that affects PC, too. It’s in the pipeline to get fixed, but has not yet bubbled up for resources. I continue to press for it because I know a lot of players have mentioned it.

So, let me see if I understand what you want: Change the Find Player user interface to allow you to pin a player to the dropdown list? Or change the panel to have a Favorites folder where you could keep players so they are unaffected by the Clear button in the main panel?

multiple dropdown lists for the "Search a player" function would be handy (adding to offtheradars post)

"recent searches" with a clear feature
"favourite searches" with a simple way to add/remove players names
(eg if you have just searched somebody, you could press a little + button and it adds it to the "favourite searches" dropdown list. plenty of ways you could implement to add names to this list. similarly when the dropdown list is visible you press a little - button to remove it from the list if you no longer want that name there)

edit: made a little picture for you since i am having the day off and bored if it isnt clear the + sign next to recent searches indicates the list is minimized and the - sign next to the favorite searches indicates the list is maximized. would obv need a bunch more graphics for adding/removing to lists and clearing lists etc.



you could even show both lists side by side with the option to minimize/maximise each list.

Rematch feature seems to be broken for limit husngs.

Could you provide a little more information to help us identify the problem? Are you unable to accept a rematch, unable to request a rematch? Is the button showing but not working? Can you provide a screenshot to illustrate? Thanks!

Seems like it might be back to normal, but I'll keep an eye on it. The rematch box just wasn't appearing, similar to how it is when the games are being wound down prior to a server restart. Circumstantial evidence made it clear it wasn't due to the opponent busting their account. I guess it was somehow correlated with the double lobbies which were appearing earlier..?

While I am definitely in favour of some kind of "favourites" list, I'm concerned that it could be used to bumhunt or follow/harass players.

One thing that has been discussed in the past, likely ITT, is to make it a "Friends" list. When you attempt to add a player to the list the other player must accept the "friend request" before they get added to the list. Further, if you have a player on your "Friends" list, they should be able to add you to their own list without requiring an acceptance from you. That way you can't follow someone around without them being able to do the same to you.

I don't think it should add you to your friend's list automatically if they accept you, just in case your friend doesn't feel like following your sorry butt around the tables.

Of course, the "Friends" list should override the "hide from search" functionality.

The only complication might be for adding a member of Team Pro/Online. For players like this it could be made so that the request is automatically accepted. I am aware there are additional screens for finding team members, but sometimes it is easier to do a search.

So I heard at the lower stakes the blindlevels changed to x/hands per level, any ETA when this is implemented to the highstakes?

keith we got some big problems here in the SNG lobby, double steps are spawning which isnt good news imo. they will never fill. not sure if there are doubles of other things

I have used all my 5 'Player Image Submissions Remaining' , I want to change my pic again :P , can I do that? Also I noticed that player image submissions often gets reset to 5, does it reset every month?
