In zoom the results of a hand only show up in the chat box when hero wins or V wins at showdown. If V wins without showdown then no result is shown.

I know it would be annoying to see every hand but perhaps with hands where Hero's fold is the last action of a hand the result could be posted. Zoom happens fast and sometimes it's nice to quickly see who the V was and how big a pot was lost without going back to the replayer or waiting for the HUD.

Anyone's else's hotkeys stopped working? I switched to a new computer, but I'm sure everything is set up ok.

still as laggy as it always is on sunday peak time, and sometimes (happened like 4 times tonight) all tables freezing for up to around 30 seconds which wud result in missing hands and burning timebanks

yup also experienced major lag today. it is every 15 minutes like clockwork when new tournaments are being seated. the worst ones for sure were the storm, million, and hot $7.50 . but every 15 minutes would be at least a few seconds lag across all tables.

is it possible that this lag is related to the issue we had during SCOOP with late registration closing early? Table allocation IIRC. AFAIK the server creates a maximum amount of tables/seats based on how many players were registered at seating. if for example this number is set farrrr too high in a tournament such as the sunday storm (where a large amount of players will be seated at the start, therefore a very large number of maximum tables/seats would be created) it could be overloading the server with unnecessary information/creating dead tables or something... anyway just my thoughts as an observer with minimal knowledge on the workings of things

I keep having random disconnections. That's fine though. I think it's from my end of things not from yours.

My problems currently lie with what happens after being disconnected and reconnecting. It doesn't happen every time, but sometimes when I reconnect the table won't load the players/seats/any graphic but the table. This occurs even mid-hand, making me lose money every time it happens as I'm then timed out of the hand and unable to play until I sit back in and get dealt into the next hand.

This was happening on PokerStars 7 Build 9918, during the PLO zoom games.


It's been a while since I've updated Pokerstars, because I'm currently unable to.
Every time I go to update Pokerstars I'm given the error message

ADD TABLE for hu games

if ftp can do it so can you. Its vital for regbattling (which is ussualy where pokerstars is the only winner!!!)

You can say for 4 years , duly noted but not high on priority list. At some point you can give in and just make it. Makes no sense whatsoever that ftp is able to many years ago

With regards to setting a custom price range in a filter for SNGs and tournaments:

1. When focus is on the lower bound, pressing the tab key moves the focus to the element containing the name of the filter. An improvement would be that when the tab key is pressed the focus advances to the upper bound. Similar tab improvements can be made throughout the rest of the filter. We should be able to navigate the entire filter window with the tab keys and check/uncheck options with the space bar.

2. If the lower bound is set to a value that is higher than the upper bound, clicking anywhere else in the window resets the lower bound to match the upper bound, even if you enter the control for the upper bound. This gets very annoying when raising limits. The same thing happens if you set the upper bound to a smaller value than the lower bound. It should act like the cash game filters: if you set the lower bound to a higher price than the upper bound, the upper bound should update as well (and vice versa).

Follow-up: The problems several of us where having last Thursday in updating to the new .COM client build was as I suspected: a lot of people trying to update at the same time. This happens occasionally with the big sites like .COM, and almost never with the smaller markets.

It turns out that this isn’t necessarily a “huge security flaw” and is most probably a simple anomaly of the client being in a semi-dormant state. When you leave yourself logged in to your desktop without activity, the server may accept a login from a different device, but then if you try to do anything in the desktop client related to real money (open cashier, play a game, register, etc.) you will immediately be presented with the requirement to log off the other device and login again at the desktop to proceed with the RM-related action.

Had you been actively playing or engaged with your desktop, you would not have been able to log into your mobile device.

In any case, if it happens again, please contact Support, send them log files, just so we can make sure it’s not something else.

Thanks for the suggestion. I presume that if you have more than one custom layout, the hotkey would apply the active custom layout, correct? If you wanted to switch to a different custom layout, you’d have to go back to Settings first. The alternative would be to have a separate hotkey for each custom layout, but as there is no limit on the number of custom layouts you can define, the hotkeys would get ridiculous pretty quickly.

A question for you both: Which version of the client were you using on Sunday? Please look in Help > About PokerStars for the 5-digit build number.

-2/-67 is something of a generic error code and the problem could be related to any number of admin/firewall/network issues.

Pokerstars is asking opinions about rule changes concerning software used by players.

I have a much more simpler rule that should be changed in order to make the games more fair for everyone, especialy for recreational vs regular players:

All the player should be able to change their nick name once a day!

The main Player ID, to login and identify our account would always stay the same, but the nick name at the tables would be diferent!

I play in other poker room that allows the players to change their nick name 3 times a day, and I assure you that it's a lot more fun, free from massive databased players|

The day that Pokerstars allows that, the real fun of playing poker will return to most players!

FYI - We are redeploying the Mac clients due to a bug experienced by some players where Notes were not being saved correctly.

If you're on a Mac and having problems with Notes, please update your client as soon as the new build is available for your license.

So far we have deployed:

.NET Mac - Build 10444
.BG Mac - Build 10445
.BE Mac - Build 10446
.DK Mac - Build 10447
.ES Mac - Build 10448
The rest should follow shortly, either later today or tomorrow.

(If you're wondering why we're able to deploy many clients in a day when in my previous post I said we typically spread them out, the Mac player base is much smaller so the update server load isn't as great, and this is a small change to the client).

^ Sometimes it opens like this(I manually did this to show you how it appears) and when it happens it always messes my saved column position. I have to manually change column position everytime. Column position here means - Start , Game , Buy in - see their position. If it happens again I'll make sure I send you the log files.

It's happening again and again, I have sent my log files to support and have asked them to forward it to you.
You can see in the pic - Start, Game, Buy in - getting cut, not able to see 'Start' fully only can see the date. It shows like this June 17... but not the exact time, I have to manually change its position, but it keeps getting reset

I hope you understood what I meant to say

Please refer to the major bot ring that was caught recently by ANOTHER PLAYER.

Being able to switch names on a daily bases would make cheating detection by players virtually impossible so bots would run rampant more than they already are if just left up to the site to pretend to catch them.

anuj, when you are done playing do you close pokerstars manually or just turn off/sleep your computer with PS open? try closing it manually from now on and see if that helps mate

I close it manually everytime by clicking on 'x' , never let it sleep/turn off while my PS is open
