I really doubt that PokerStars realise how many rec players are walking away from tables after a few moments when all the other players are taking 'forever' to fold. It's not rocket science.

so a reg takes 90 seconds to fold 53o? cant believe stars give the regs 90 second time banks in turbos/hypers that can be used continuosly. no wonder the recs are leaving the games. can someone at stars address this please before there are no recs left and hypers are taking hours to finish

The prize pool is the seats, the excess from BI is awarded to the person bubbling the seats paid, Pokerstars already confirmed that this is the software working to specification.

What the other person on this page was pointing to with the prize pool was an error, what you pointed to wasn't. Seats to target event = places paid.

Pokerstars Keith made this reply on the subject a month ago. If they are now choosing to change the way it operates then fair enough, but it wasn't an error, it was design choice. It made a tonne of sense IMO. If you play a sat then you are playing to gain an entry to the target event.

When I finish third in a sat to an event, where the non seat winning place is $0.03(Random number), I don't consider myself to have cashed.

ok man, sorry if i offended you.
at the example i posted the ticket was $162 and the non-seat prize was $135, which is very close to the ticket and not some ridic small cash unworthy of mentioning.
anyway, once again, the problem was acknowledged (it is a mistake at the info tab), so let's not derail. cheers

We've had this discussion before. Places paid has always meant places paid, but it's apparently recently been changed to mean seats paid. Any satellite player with a brain checks the lobby for precise payouts anyway, so whatever.

However, in some recent cases the figure shown is neither the total number of places paid nor the number of seats, so something isn't right whatever the intention.

Someone just pointed out to me that PS removed the 1/2 game options from the Home Game play money side of things... not that my friends and I don't play it once in a while to practice and coach each other.

Anyone hear they did this and why? And please save your "play money variance sucks" comments

Just as a heads up, using PokerStars 7 Build 9918 (the most up to date one at the time of this post), I've encountered a bit of a bug with the "Sit out at X tables next big blind and close" button, or whatever it's called.

Simply put, there are times when I'll be multitabling a Zoom limit of choice, click this button, but it doesn't seem to come into effect for all tables. Usually leaves 1 of the 4 tables free to continue playing.

I'm unsure what triggers the bug exactly. I'll keep playing, if I find out that a combination of buttons messes it up I'll post here.

there is some sort of bug with the auto-rebuy options.
whenever i have the auto-rebuy "whenever possible" option, sometimes i get a pop-up saying i can't rebuy/you must have less chips to rebuy or sth like that and then the auto-rebuy gets unchecked.
the last part is the actual problem.

I have a problem after i had to install a new update, I'm on mac, i reversed to ps6.
Now it says when i want to start up:

"client program has failed to initialize".

Is it because I'm still on 6 or not?

Is there a chance that anybody would know how to code the detached chat window box to minimise in OS !!

Stars there was one update where you fixed this, then you forgot for the rest of them and concentrated on making 7 so good !!

Please !! The point of detaching the chat I thought, was to get it out the way.
