^^ if that's a forced update it might be because your previous client version was so drastically different from the latest one they had to reset the configuration file to avoid issues.

in future, make a backup of the com.pokerstars.region.user.ini file before making any updates. A lot of the sections can be copy and pasted back in post updates.

I had in issue recently with the rule of PS saying you can not transfer money to your FT account within the 48 hours after a deposit was made. I understand the rule saying you can not withdraw money in the same 48 hours, but when it comes to transfers to Full tilt, I really don't undertand why you don't let a least the amount that was in a pokerstars account for at least 48 hours available for transfers, llike it is with Full tilt.

Let's say I have 500$ since a week or so on my account. Then I deposit 150$. I should be able to transfer the 500$ that were alreay there when I deposited. It is the way it works with Full Tilt so it shouldn't be an issue to do the same at Pokerstars. When using Full tilt transfers to Pokerstars, you have your total balance displayed as well as the amount available for transfer. It would be more fair to the players.

It is just a suggestion...

One bug with Notes.
If i use "tab" button - it is shown correctly in the note-box, but PS7 just ignores it in popups (uses "space" instead of "tab"). Everything was correct in PS6, so please tweak this.

Right now, the note-box is:
Fish Spazzy

But the note-popup is:
Fish Spazzy

When it pops up the update, and before you click to proceed with it, use Task Manager to close all instances of PokerStarsBr.exe before continuing. This should enable the update to run without problems.

Anyone know what folder to back up to save player notes and colour tags?

notes.YourStarsName.xml in the main folder.

Running ps 6 on mac and it's still awesome.
The menu bar as previously mentioned is much better and faster
to change settings imo.

hope stars don't force us to update anytime soon.

My computer still crashes+reboots (BSOD) whenever I try to start the client in v7 mode.
I've been using the .ini hack last couple of weeks (starting in ps6 mode).

Would it be possible to enable a feature which allows you to skip the board runout when all in preflop, flop or turn? Instead the software could just proceed to the next hand. without showing opponents cards & board. The results can be checked via previous hand anways...

Whats with Zoom now in PS7 'greying out' all the players that have folded in a hand, and is there a option to go back to it showing avatars of all players in full light/ color ?

The "Places Paid" displayed on table in the info tab is definitely not performing as intended, whatever the intention is.

I played a satelite earlier today. 2 seats were awarded, and the remainder of the pool was split between positions 3-7. The info tab at the final table was informing me that 5 places were paid, which was clearly incorrect by any definition.

Today i had some issues with pokerstars software and wasn't able to keep playing, because when i open main lobby and try to register to a new tournament every other tables freezes and i can't do nothing on them, even though i see the action, but I am just siting out. Had no idea where the issue was, only pokerstars software restart helped, but the same thing happened again and again, so I had to stop playing. Do you have any idea where the problem could be?
