I think one of the bigger errors in the PS software is in the limit games.
Example: 5/10 limit. Blinds 2/5. Player A has $9.50 and open raises all-in UTG. The next players options are fold, call or raise to $10.
Could you please provide a HH or hand number where this happens so I can look at it more closely?
POKERSTARS GAME #14761734758: HOLD'EM LIMIT ($5/$10) - 2008/01/23 - 06:46:36 (ET)
Table 'Lysithea' 6-max Seat #5 is the button
Seat 1: flopking01 ($389 in chips)
Seat 2: l337O ($381.50 in chips)
Seat 3: Anne_dubdub ($23 in chips)
Seat 4: Bonillafan ($191 in chips)
Seat 5: vuki ($145 in chips)
flopking01: posts small blind $2
l337O: posts big blind $5
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Bonillafan [Kd Qc]
Anne_dubdub: raises $5 to $10
Bonillafan: raises $5 to $15
vuki: raises $5 to $20
Betting is capped
flopking01: folds
l337O: folds
Anne_dubdub: calls $10
Bonillafan: calls $5
*** FLOP *** [4s Ks 9c]
Anne_dubdub: bets $3 and is all-in
Bonillafan: raises $2 to $5
vuki: calls $5
In this particular example...Anne_dub's all-in bet of $3 on the flop is equal to more than half of the normal bet, therefore should be considered a full bet, and Bonillafans raise should be a $5 raise (to $8) as a 2nd bet, not just $2. As it is now, vuki gets to call $5 (the typical 1-bet) even though there has already been 2-bets worth of action.
I will look for other examples that demonstrate this point further if needed.
