wow, mac stars is unusable-- closes down every 10 minutes, the animation is terrible... stars should have warned users they'd need a pc imo.

there's been some decent stability in some of the releases...and not with others :/

z-order seems to be fixed in the Mac beta client - the chat is certainly now above the cards again.

on sunday i stack my stars tables cuz im playing a few other sites and ive been noticing that occasionally after a pot is pushed to me the table will come to attention and the table will stay up while other tables need my attention. sup with that?

The mixed holdem and omaha tables are nice. However why are they only available for fullring? I am sure traffic would increase at 6-max tables.

We did adjustments to fix the Mac stability issues when mass multi-tabling and continue to look into the issue. We will also fix the Sit & Go lobby opening on Mac when registering for a Sit & Go even if you have disabled the option to auto-open the tourney lobby.

Regarding the chips graphics -- some of the reported items above cannot be reproduced on our end. Note that we do not normally use a 50 chip denomination in tournaments (.COM Windows does not use it either) so 2x25 to make up 50 is quite usual in our tournaments.

The problem with the Big Blind chip stack not being represented optimally does not seem to exist now (please PM me if you still experience it).

A problem that still exists on some tables on Mac is that raises are sometimes represented with a single chip stack, as opposed to multiple chip stacks as it should be. We are working to adjust this for Mac users.

Is this for real? I'm not one to complain about free money since it's better than nothing but somebody missed a 0. Honestly not worth my time making the deposit to tie up $100 for a couple hands plus the missed opportunity cost of the hands I missed while in the cashier. I suppose having recreationals burn through a new $110 is better than nothing too, meh. Weaksauce.

WARNING: DONT PLAY ON MAC CLIENT, TABLES NOT POPING UP AND NO ADVISE

- +1 bug found: after receiving a mail of ps support to reinstall my client and delete some system file I did and went to grind. After 100 games and lots of disconnects/crashes and bugs im almost done with the session. I receive another email from PS to send them my log files, then I open another session.

I note that the client is not crashing, and its going pretty well, but then I realize Im only playing a few tables(12 counted). Then I check to see how many games are running and BOOM.


I was registered, in games running in more than 20 tables that simple didint pop up. I dont even know if i was away on those tables or what was going on, but the green button on the client didint was yellow because I did checked it more than once. I tryed to open then manually clicking on the go to seat but it was impossible too.

So i force CMD+Q(quit) the client and open it again to see 20 tables, most part short of chips and also +20 lobbys poping up.

I already also noted games didint opening in the past, but usually only one or two, but with advises of the mac system that system was running low of resources, but that was the first time wich soo few tables.

I am sending an email to ps support for a refund of all the games played on the last session, because it was an absurd having to play shot stacked+ bugged + manual closing the client+ dozens of lobbys poping up everytime.

Its impossible to play at PS using a mac client at this time.

Btw, my first complains about the crashes were in the FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST. In those 3 months and a half I sended more than 4x the logs that they requested, prints and run lots of other tests in my computer and in my old mac(who used to run 24 more tables at once without a problem) and so far now i perceive that are even more bugs.
The start of this bug also happend to be at the same time that i had my worst dowswing ever, i cant even know how much it was my normal dowswing and how much it was games that didint loaded.

Really pokerstars, this is an ABSURD if you consider how much rake we pa,just today I paid almost 1k in rake.

sounds like enough money to get a pc you could use only for poker.
i'm just saying...if it's THAT important to u why do you wait 4 months risking money everyday hoping someone will fix the problem?

i play poker for around 2 years. in the first 1year and 9 months I had no problem playing with a mac. In fact there are a lot of things that are easier to do using the mac when grinding. I also dont use the computer only to grind. I was at university and working..and mac was way better for those 2 activities.

I had no idea that PS would screw that bad on the mac client, since it was working fine on the past. My actual mac was even bough with concierge. So i dont think its fair that i spend another 2k dollars on a computer because someone did a mess at the client. And as you can see, im not the only one having the problem

i wish there was a way to change to the old chips. playing on many tables with different blinds is a little tougher

Had this problem for now many months, had to stop grinding for SNE mostly because of that. Caused me tilt/lose of concentration also for closing/reopening client/tables popping up/.... I have emailed Stars about 10 times and the last email I got was : we know the problem, we'll look into compensation when we resolve it. That is the worst support I have got from them since I play there (which is about 7 years now). I never received any kind of compensation for this which is unfair IMO. This would never have happened a couple of years ago. Stars has a great site, great game selection, etc, but their support is getting worst year by year.
