I actually registered on this forum just to post about this.

That dialog box can be improved in myriad of other ways too:

1. For ring games, instead of showing just the table name and game type, i'd like to also see the stakes and limit type.

2. For SNGs and tourneys, the tournament number is totally useless. Why not show the buy-ins and/or tournament names instead ?

3. If I open an MTT lobby from that dialog, it's obviously because i want to rail that player's table and not some other random table. So it would make sense if the software automatically selected that player's table for me instead of me having to waste my time searching for the player's name in the list of all player names.

That would be great. It's one of the only things (IMHO) that FT still has over PS. Their search feature is perfect.

Better sit&go filter please. Let us set the exact min/max buy-in. Shouldn't be hard to let us just type in a number for min and max. If you can't do that, at least put a lot more numbers in the menus. Ty.

is the standard windows-client .NET or .COM?

Synchronise the breaks in all MTTs ?

.COM is the real money version of the PokerStars client. .NET is play money only.

At the moment we can't do this. To set a break, we specify how long it should be, and after how many minutes of play it occurs. So for example, we can specify '60-5', which means a 5 minute break after 60 minutes of play.

The problem is, even if we manually calculated the breaks so that they were planned to occur at the same time (not easy considering the huge range of events that we have), the breaks would still usually be unsynchronised in practice, because the tournament clock gets stopped automatically in certain circumstances, such as when a player is disconnected.

If you've ever played two events that started at the exact same time at PokerStars, you'll probably notice that they don't go on break simultaneously, and in fact the breaks may not overlap at all.

There are other problems too - do we really want some tournaments to have a break just a few minutes after they start? Do we want tournaments to go on break in the middle of a level?

If anyone can come up with a plan for how to do this, I'll be more than happy to discuss it with my colleagues, but right now, with our current system, it's not possible.

Not sure if this has been mentioned. In MTTs:

Whn i have "auto double rebuy" checked, say starting stack is 1000, I insta rebuy at start to 2000 and if i get stacked I auto double rebuy to 2000 obv.

However If I lose a pot and am down to 1-999 chips (after an all in/showdown), say 800 I have to manually "single" rebuy and it is hard to do this before the next hand starts. By checking the auto double rebuy I am essentially saying, "I want the most chips I can have at any stage in the rebuy period". Can you please make this chk box also auto single rebuy if I happen to be below starting stack but not at 0 after a showdown?

Agreed. Sort of an "auto topoff" for rebuy MTTs.

How bout a table theme where the main goal is to make the name box bigger so that people can see the stack sizes easier. Basing it off the no images theme is probably the best bet since the actions are posted in the name box and frees up space by not having the image circle. ***IMPORTANT*** Place the cards slightly above the hero's name box so as not to cover the stack size. Most people are turned off by the no images theme because their cards cover their stack size and they have to look in the upper left hand corner for this info. As for the colors, the hyper simple color scheme seems to be the most popular.

5max tables with max rake at 2 dollars and second VPP at the second dollar.

What about 4max tables. I mean 4max tournaments are a success, and nobody likes to play UTG or UTG+1 in 6max tables anyway, so why not for at least try them on NL 0.25/0.50cts or so.

i don't understand why we don't have 50bb fast tables and normal speed HU tables. could someone from Stars please explain this?

I propose we all email stars support with the autoreload request. It would be great if stars got 100K+ emails asking for the autoreload to be implemented. It's amazing that it hasn't been added yet.

Haven't read the entire thread so not sure if this was mentioned, but I would like to be able to see the notes I have on my opponents by hovering my mouse over the player. Save me a few clicks when I'm doing heavy multitabling.

Yeah I know there are a few AHK scripts that would help me do this and I'm currently running them right now, but I would still love for stars to make it part of the client.
