It is nice to hear that an update is arriving from 2+2, but I would prefer to hear it directly from stars.

A reliable secure downloading area for long term customers would be a nice touch.

Stars' client just shutdown three times in an hour for me.

One little glitch in the Mac version:

CMD-S to open a similar SNG is the the same shortcut which brings up the cashier.
It does bring up the cashier, but doesn't register me in a similar SNG.

I know this is hot on the heels of some great additions to the software, but the icing on the cake for me now would be if you were to allow:

a) colour coding of all tournaments in the lobby that I am already registered for


b) a way of choosing what info to display in the highlighted tournament panel that occupies the right hand side of the lobby. That space seems to be really wasted by simply stating the field size and when the tournament goes on break etc. Much more useful to me would be the ability to see a list of all the players currently registered for that game, with an additional option to only display those players that I have colour coded. I play MTTSNGs (mainly 45 mans) and an at-a-glance list of how many regs/fish are currently registered in a given game without having to mess around opening the lobby (which is a pain with a lot of tables open) would be much more valuable to me than knowing that seats will be available when 45 players are registered.

Gaz, from what I understand there is an issue in that the registered players is a lot of information to go and get (or have preloaded) every time a user happens to click on a tourney in the main lobby. Imagine if you're just quickly scrolling down the tourneys using a cursor, the client would be going crazy trying to bring back all those constantly changing player lists.

I've since had two further shutdowns and cannot even play. Nobody else having this problem? Occam's razor says it is the new update, but if nobody is having the problem I am seriously concerned that Stars support won't know how to handle it.

It does not work for regular sngs that have no description in them.

Custom Themes (XThemes) will need to use new rbtn.bmp and rbtn.a.bmp

or you can use the default ones by going into your custom theme's "ctrls" folder and deleting those two files

Sigh. I just got the standard "your hard drive or memory is corrupted" with instructions to do a bunch of scans and then uninstall and reinstall Stars. Honestly, given the timing of my problem-- zero problems before the newest update-- is there any chance this is my problem and not the update? I guess so if nobody else is having problems, but wtf. I really do not want to do all of this crap that they are recommending as I find it very unlikely to be the problem. I guess I will try uninstalling and reinstalling Stars. Sigh.

Stars needs to add an option to hide your bankroll when registering to sng's. In mtt's when your rebuy or add on it just says that the amount of the rebuy/addon has been taken from your account.

I would like to see this with sng's

I have a script which clicks the time bank. From what I ve seen, it's not working with the new time bank position, but still does with the dysfunctional x-themes time bank.

Otherwise, great update.

Option yes but not remove it as some like this and it can actually be a way someone staking people can verify their bankroll.

Steve could you give us some info on what this is supposed to be? Based on the name, I'm thinking along the lines of FTP's cashout tournaments.

Now that we can auto-detach chat/controls (A+), can we have an option that would fix the focus steal while taking notes issue?

If I double click a player intending to take a note, let me have an option to auto-lock the controls for that table.

Yea, its also tilting when your multi-tabling and trying to color code people but by the time you click the person and get the note up and then click the color button and just before you click the color you want, BAM, table steal focus.

And another, it's awful and it actually slows down action as i'm clicking the button a few times and nothing's happening.

Noticed a "bug"(or maybe it was intentional): The client doesn't save your choice in the bet slider options of whether to have the increments in small blind or big blind. Bug is too strong a word, just an annoyance to reopen the client and have to go back and select small blind.

I would like to suggest letting us have the option of "% of pot" for preflop bet slider options. As it is, we only have that option post flop. Life will go on without it and I don't know how popular it would be, but by implementing it it just gives you more room to find a setup that suits the player.

I would also like to ask if any of these new features affect someones connection in a negative way? I don't think they do, but would still like to ask if all these bells and whistles while maybe on the small scale per player, add up to a potential big problem when Pokerstars has 400,000 people online?
