its not the pc specs, some guys have tremendous set-ups where everything works perfect except stars/aurora

Does somebody have graphics bugs?

Sometimes on the bet and call buttons and in the screenname box or in the chat box characters are missing. Its the most problematic when I don't know how much I have to call as the call button doesn't display the numbers. The same is true for the bet button. For example it sometimes says " . ". Rescaling helps sometimes.

The support just copy pastes something pre written and says my hardware is too bad.

Since a while I can not see the list of all tables for regular tables, but just see the total number of tables for each limit.

I really dislike being placed at a random table each time (sometimes it places me at the table I just left or at empty tables), and often I end up on tables full of regs on which I never would have sat down in the first place.

Is there any way to switch back to the old table list where I could also see the average VPIP and number of players per flop for each table?

after today's update, it forced aurora, and legacy=1 doesn't work anymore, does it work for you guys or do you have any other fix?
It also deleted all of my previous settings and it seems like I'd have to customize it from scratch?

Try this:

First make a backup of your C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerStars.RO (archive the folder somewhere on your PC so you can revert to default values anytime);

2. Copy all files from C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerStars.RO\backup into C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerStars.RO folder;

3. Always run pokerstars afer that from C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerStars.RO\Pokerstars.exe instead of the desktop executable (the desktop forces updates everytime);


I can still run it with legacy mode on.

The update only modified some settings in here (from what I've noticed on a short notice)

Update removed the following:

-Show full hole cards;
-Show large opponent cards;
-Hide hole cards;

I'm in Germany, and I'm not sure what exactly fenced markets are, but I assume it's countries like france or italy that can only play with people from their own country?

As I'm playing with people from all over the world I assume this shouldnt be the case.

I did the downgrade to the old graphic. Put animation etc to the minimum. But still PS is skyrocketing my CPU to 100% usage. I have an I-7 with 32gb RAM and a Geforce GXT 1060, everything else goes smoothly. Some idea to fix?

Although, I don't really get how this is supposed to protect German players, if they are the only ones not being able to seat select, as long as people from all other coutries can still seat select vs them.

And they should at least add some kind of waiting list which makes you join a random table. Sometimes all tables are full, and I keep getting seated on empty tables which is kind of annoying. And sometimes there doesn't even seem to be an empty table and nothing at all happens when I hit "play now".

After update I notice that in options is missing Show full hole cards. And of course in table it's looks awful.

I use LegacyPokerTable=1 in user.ini file

How I can back to see full cards? How to fix it?

i think they removed that option.... of course that was top priority for stars

not that aurora is ****ing up every session... this option needed to be disabled

I have all animations disabled and aurora on low but still get hourly lags..is this for real??..if PS has these issues what to expect from others..

finally got offered one of those rake deals, 20 mins playing and ill just go back to other sites, its got horrible lag
