lol do you work for pokerstars marketing team to combat players who have something to say about what doesnt work well on stars (lately, a lot)? its like you skim the forums every day and if anyone repeats a criticism on stars you can swipe in and say 'why do you play there then'

not that its your concern but i play there because i beat my limits hard and its a nice penny for me, i dont hate stars, i used to love it though, nowadays i think its somewhat crappy but i dont hate everything thats a bit crappy... for instance, i dont feel any animosity towards you

Hello!
Does anyone else has a problem with pokerstars. When I open new table table opens but than i get message on pokerstars lobby that application xbox game bar currently isnt available in my account. And code of the error is 0x803F8001. And than I can close this message and tables stays open.
But it is still very tilting to have to close that window everytime I open new table.
I found a lot of solutions regarding this problem on google and youtube but nothing is working. I also tryed reinstall pokerstars and it is not helping. All the other sites are working fine.

is it possible to turn off the aurora graphics ? where ?

Since PS introduced aurora graphic, I always turn off. since last update couple days ago (maybe weeks ago.. it is been a while since i dont open PS), i can't find how to turn off aurora.

ps: aurora always make my computer lag, i need to restart in 5 minutes everytime I open more than 2 tables.

are you sure? you have to do it each time, maybe thats the case cus I just tried and it worked fine for me, i was able to play hyper simple themes tables (no aurora) a few minutes ago

thats on.eu btw maybe that makes a difference

what is happening that your workaround doesnt work? does it simply load aurora graphics immediately after starting pokerstars or when doing somethign else?

After deleting ImgCache its still forcing update. I've tried uninstalling stars and re-deleting multiple times. Maybe I'll try again. I'm on uk client
Also have you had any trouble saving notes lately since implementing the workaround?

i think it might the .uk thing but that sucks man, that means .eu is forced aurora soon and i cant get it to work properly

i had no problem with saving notes with workaround no,

and when i start stars after deleting imgcache i dont get a forced update (yet)

Yeh now it's just auto loading the aurora graphics and replacing ImgCache as normal when exiting client. Can't find the. Exe launcher tho, I was just leaving pc on sleep lol. Can't figure our starscaption either so the grind is going back to 2010

I'm on Pokerstars UK and cannot disable aurora, which makes stars completely unplayable for me. I cannot even load one spin and go without having to turn the client off and reboot it, by the time I have done that I am already 10% of my stack down.

Q1: Is there a way to disable popup message when you register to a tournament ("Welcome to the blablabla").
Q2: Is there a way to disable popup: "Do you want to register to another satellite?
Q3: Is there a way to prevent another table getting focus while I am pressing a hotkey? Similarly to party poker solution that keeps the focus when you hold CTRL button. I still want other table to get focus when I am not pressing the hotkey.
Q4: Why is there no reentry popup for satellites?

To think when I saw the update I came to this thread thinking maybe stars fixed some issues and added hyper simple etc to the new engine. Nah, just patched us being able to avoid their butchered new software

They should remove the block colour cards and get rid of 4 colour deck next just to really drive it home.

I can still start the client with aurora being disabled.

Deleting the files in the imgCache folder + starting the client with the PokerStars.exe (default desktop shortcut is the PokerStarsUpdate.exe).

e: I didn't get the latest patch yet.

I just got the new update and the option to disable Aurora is back in settings! Maybe they've reconsidered?

what a joke just totally unplayable, so your just expected to run out and buy a top spec computer to be able to continue playing on stars? what a mess, need to remove stars from my schedule the lag is unreal clicking buttons about 3 times for it to work etc ... just when you thought they couldn't get any worse. surely they have to resolve this they need to bring back option for legacy, i'd imagine going to lose a huge % of players if dont, honestly dont think they care, sinking ship

lol, this is bizarre. I thought my pc was bad poor brazil and I was the only one with this problems. sick that many people with same problem with Aurora Graph.
